The Schatzi Troupe is a herd of performers. They earn their living with songs, dance, stories, and even sooth saying. They are very distant cousins to the Amachi herd, or at least the main Schatzi family is. Although over the years the bloodlines have been bread out and the herd is now a mix of different breeds. Though they are not as well off at the Amachi, the Schatzi are not a poor herd. However, they do have a pecking order. Those with the most talent have the most respect, and get the better deals to provide entertainment. The chief of the herd is the one who sets up the deals, for a percentage of what is earned.

Personality: Ambrogio tends to be strict when it comes to the business sense of his herd, making sure everyone gets their fair earnings based on their skills and talents. He also firmly believes none in the herd should go hungry, though those with more talent get the better jobs and food. While the chief can be stringent when it comes to the earnings of his herd, he is otherwise fairly happy-go-lucky when not dealing with his duties. He loves to sing and tell stories to the foals, and dote on his family.

Profession: Alpha Female
Personality: Oorjita is more or less the type of female who will nag you to death over all the things you have done wrong and very rarely ever gives praise to anyone. She's very hardheaded and set in her ways. Simply put, if she doesn't suggest the idea first then it's probably not something she would agree too. While she comes off brash she does care deeply for her family and herd members. Oorjita just has a---unique way of showing it?

Personality: Niabi is very rebellious when it comes to the Troupe's business. She been trained to be a dancer practically since she crawled out of her basket. Doesn't mean she likes it.She'd rather be exploring the sands looking for treasures and trinkets. She is adventurous, playful, and headstrong. She's also very much against her parents' wishes that she get friendly with the Amachi stallions to try and unite the families. She'd much rather strike it out on her own and prove she can hold her own.

Character Name: Ambrogio Schatzi

Profession: Chief, singer and storyteller

Design idea Ambrogio is a cerynei with a pale yellow coat and lighter yellow dappling. He has a long, mint green mane that he wears braided in places and adorned with bells and varying trinkets. He has two small, straight antlers that he has adorned with rings. His ears are pierced, and he wears many bangles and bell chains on his fore legs. He has a normal cerynei tail. He wears a head scarf of pale turquoise, adorned with bells, that wraps over his head, down his neck, and trails a bit to drape on his back.

Character Name: Niabi Schatzi
Gender: female
Relation within Schatzi Family: Ambrogio and Oorjita's daughter
Profession: dancer Treasure Hunter

Personality/information: Niabi's herd are entertainers, her immediate family being dancers and singers. A few serve as honor guard to protect the herd, but most of the business trade is done through dance, stories, and sometimes plays. This is not the life the mare wants. She was trained in dance almost as soon as she emerged from her basket, but she never cared for it. Instead she preferred to walk the desert paths and explore the area. Sometimes she finds little treasures in the sand that she takes home to have made into trinkets, if they are small enough.
While she can dance to earn a living, she also uses some of the treasures and trinkets in trading, or sells them when she has a chance. Her passion is to make her living on treasure hunting and to be done with having to rely on dancing. She is striking out on her own against her family's wishes, looking to one day have her own business with the treasure hunting.


Design idea Niabi is a cerynei who is a light shade of lavender with soft yellowed 'bubbles' along her fur. They are just spots, but she calls them bubbles. She has short, mint green hair she keeps in messy pigtails and bangs. She once found some goggles buried in the sand and cleaned them, which she wears when exploring to protect her eyes from sand. She wears colorful scarves, usually, around her neck and is often draped with bells and trinkets she's found in the desert or traded for. She has small nubs of horns that she has adorned as well.

I don't think I've seen her before. She's pretty....and has a scarf already. xd


But yes, the Schatzi don't often turn anyone away, especially if they have a talent that will bring income into the herd.

I still need to work on their history and culture, and will try to get to it this weekend.
