She smiled before thinking a bit. "But this lake is so far from any other body of water...Isn't it dangerous for you to be out this far? Are you looking for your girlfriend or something?" She was firing off twenty questions. "Oh! Sorry how rude...My name is Nimue...What's yours stranger?" She canted her head and blinked to him. He was still hiding after all.

Logan blinked at her feet. Girlfriend? Opal wasn't his girlfriend. Making an odd face, almost like sucking on a lemon, he quickly shook his head. "No. Not a girlfriend. Not that she would have me anyway." he muttered, thinking back to her reaction when he had told her his life story. Yeah. He was so not going to repeat that experience. Ever.
Returning his attention back to her legs, he tried to focus on the conversation."As to your other question, my name is Logan." he replied. "Nice to meet you." he said, a brief wave from his hand accenting his statement.

Oh drat. He already liked someone. Bummer. He was pretty hot. She sighed to herself before putting on her best face and smiled to him. "How about we sit on the shore line and talk there! Maybe I could help you with your girl problems?" He was making such a funny face. "Or don't you like her?" She looked at him a bit confused. Why was he looking at her legs? He was strange.
"Come on then Logan!" She said, grabbing onto his hand and starting to pull him to the shore. "What are you doing out here anyways? This is really far away from most of the big bodies of water....Which is why I come here. It's like my own private pool." She laughed. "Guess I'm a bit strange. I've always loved the water. No clue why but I just do. I feel...At home in it."

Logan instinctively jerked his hand back. It wasn't personal. He just wasn't much on the affectionate side. That, and his body kept screaming at him to look at this girl in way that would make his own mother blush. Mummering something unintelligible, he struggled to make nice. Why was this so hard!??! As if to answer him, his eyes skittered over her body again.
Oh for the love of goddess.....Was he really this...male?
Deciding enough was enough, he straightened up and attempted to make the poor fairy pae feel a little more at ease with him. After all, she kept looking at him like he was a lunatic and for good reason. Giving her one of his attempts at a awkward smile, he shrugged and made to follow the fairy to land. Even though he despised that horrible, dry place. It was the least he could do to for staring up her dress.
"It's not really like that." he explained. "She's practically a sister to me. She just ran off and now I have to find her so that I can protect her. The pae around here are beasts."
See? He even managed to answer her questions and converse normally. Which was saying something given the problem this beautiful pae presented him with. Focusing on her other questions, he gave this 'nice' thing another go.
"I was in the area."
There. That seemed nice, right? He might actually come across as a decent pae if he kept this up. On a whim, he even attempted to grab her hand and let himself be tugged to shore. Girls could hold hands, why not guys?

"Beasts? Do I really come off as a beast to you?" She poundered that for a second before arriving to the shore, sitting down on the shore banks and letting her feet dip into the water. The markings on her legs seemed to give off a soft glow as they touched the water, a stronger glow then when she was in the air. "I'm afraid I haven't really met any other Pae, besides you...So I'm too sure how 'beastly' they are...I suppose I just image they all have good in them." She put a finger to her lip as she looked to the sky, thinking. How bad could another be? It was beautiful out after all. Well these matters weren't her concern really. "Well, like I said, I haven't seen anyone else lately so I am not too sure she is out here. Maybe she gave you the slip? Maybe she made you think she went one way, when really she went the other? A goose chase!" She smiled and kicked her feet a little.
