Researchers believe that the "Bushisms" are not because he's "stupid" or "nervous", but he may have a few disorders, such as ADD and an acute form of dislexia. I don't know how that last thing is possible. sweatdrop
What would we have done if Kerry became President? Ew. I think both candidates then were nowhere nearly as good as some other possible candidates at the time. If anyone other than John Kerry ran for the Democrats, we in America (and elsewhere) be 100 times better off.
Bush's decisions right now are passed by some other people and whatever. The president get MUCH less power than people think. Go read about it. So, really... Let's go with that Star Wars quote: "Who's the more foolish; the fool, or the fool who follows him?" There. It means that Bush is less stupid than the people who allow him to get away with things.
Iraq: Citizens are happy that they're more free. Just go ask 'em. Ask some soldiers. The soldiers are in Iraq because they CHOSE to join the military. I know a few people there who knew what they were getting into. Really, if anyone wanted to take a stand at all, shouldn't people stop enlisting? Obviously, some people do support the war. Let them.

Yes what the war supporters fail to remember it was the USA that built up Saddam's power base in the first place when he was fighting Iran. The USA failing to help prop up Iraq's post war economy is what lead to Iraq's invasion of Kuwait which resulted in Operation Desert shield/storm. The result of that was a global recession.
Going into Iraq again under the whole BS of WMD served no purpose other then taking out the kingpin that held the country together. The people in the middle east have been happily killing each other for centuries becuase of tribalism and conflicting holy beliefs. They only time they are untied is one something bigger then all them oppresses them. Removing Saddam with a occupational force only 25% strength of what is required to hold and lockdown a country of Iraqs size has done nothing but push it to civil war.
Of course if US forces leave now they will just have created a bigger mess then the one the left back in the early 90s. They have already got their hands dirty the only real solution that would allow an exit for troops is to increase the occupying force by 400% and go door to door and shoot everyone who has a gun that shouldn't. Situations like this come about when you have politicians running a war and not Generals. GWB went into this to avenge his daddy and now he has made a mess of it too.
