So this is more for my curiosity right now than anything. I really shouldn't be allowed to sit and idly think. cat_whee
So lately when I elder sit the cat has been allowed upstairs. And today the cat has been acting differently than its normal. He's been attacking my knees and has had a different meow. Now I had to run and do some grocery shopping and I was supposed to take the elderly man with me but he started refusing to go and whatnot to the point that the women sending me said forget it just go without him. I come back to a note saying that he had to take his anxiety meds because he was afraid to go upstairs because he was afraid of people trying to destroy him.
So I was wondering, can cats sense paranormal things? Could the cat have sensed the panic attack coming way before we knew? Or could it just be nothing at all? This is the first time the cat was around the person when he was having the panic attack. And i ask about the paranormal because its always he's afraid of people coming to destroy him.

Dogs know when seizures are coming. But I think that's because they recognize behaviours that maybe we don't. So I think it would have been more likely if the cat HAD been around him when he'd had a panic attack.
If my cat can sense paranormal stuff, he just gives no shits about it, because I've never seen him react to anything.

I was just curious. And didn't know if they could since both houses I'm regularly in and have had something in it don't have cats.
