Personality: Mal often looks as if she is bored or doesn’t care, though sometimes it may be the opposite. She has difficulty conveying her feelings with facial expressions. Listening to her words and the tinges of emotion in her tones are a far more accurate reading of her opinion and feelings. However, it’s also true that Mal is more likely to feel apathetic or indifferent toward a situation. She is sympathetic in that she can understand the viewpoints of both sides fairly well, rendering her unable to definitely pick a side. As a result, Mal chooses to remain indifferent toward large conflicts, but is willing to go with the flow and join the majority side if it is overwhelming enough.
Her apathy also plays into her incredible calmness and laidback demeanor. Her lack of emotion makes it easy for Mal to keep a clear mind in times of distress. Depending on the chaos going on, her stoic calm can even be seen as comical, but allows her the opportunity to try and get others to calm down so that the situation can be controlled. When Mal finds no reason to panic or worry, she can also come across as laidback and my-pace. She has no qualms about finishing things whenever she feels like it rather than by a suggested deadline. While others may worry, she’s more likely to sit back with a drink and tell people to relax.
However, Mal’s defining trait is her tendency to be lazy and procrastinate. She would rather be sleeping or lounging in the sun, even tending to her plants would be better than doing work. She is very much a passive person that would gladly allow someone else to do her work for her or let someone else fix a problem. While she is quite lazy, she also finds a certain amount of joy from helping others. If the task is simple and/or within her power, Mal doesn’t mind going out of her way to do it. However, her actually doing it would depend on her mood or other factors such as nagging or bribes.

Guardian: Labyrinth
Personality: Much like an actual labyrinth, Labyrinth can be rather mysterious and some of his choices befuddles many—including Mal herself. Nonetheless, his whimsical ways are more often amusing, but it’s not surprising to find that an action or two leaves a path of confusion and frustration. Another notable trait of Labyrinth is his ability to be longwinded. He can chatter on end, his conversation winding from one topic to another like some sort of maze. He’ll start with one point and end with a completely different one. It’s difficult for people to make Labyrinth get to the point and usually he never makes it to his “destination.”
