Vinycent11 "Fear not the damage of nature.." After the other genin had left the tent with Zasso, Midori listened to the Hyuga girl's true thoughts on the matter. She found a wise and passionate young woman, the makings of a great healer and leader of a clan in the form of one so young.
Finally, the smile dropped for the first time since she met her, her shoulder's sagged and she sighed almost dejectedly. She made a few hand seals and the air around the two of them flickered for a moment.
"He can no longer hear us... I know how you feel. In fact I agree with you. You see, he is not my true child, despite what he called me earlier, but I have come to love him the same.
Tell me Yuko-Ue, what do you know of jinchuuriki? Shizukana is not one of these, however, we are not truly sure what he is. When we found him, there was an entire village decimated by a rock slide. Only this rock slide, fell up hill..."
Midori continued to use the political superior honorific towards Yuko as if she were the clan head herself of the Hyuga.
"The sole survivor was an infant, one who was crying because he was hungry and distressed. As the infant cried, the ground itself began to quake, he killed the six jounin I was assigned with just by trying to reach out to nature for nourishment.
Their was a meeting among the village elders, he was to be executed or sealed away for all time because of the potential he might be capable of."
Her eyes began to water as she said this remembering her betrothed one and her decision to take the child for herself and to raise it. Out of resentment for her connection to the child emotionally and fear of it's power, he left her. She tried to will away the sorrow with a weak smile that never reached her eyes.
"I trained the boy through games, nursery rhymes I invented. Never once did I make him do anything he shouldn't have, the boy started to train physically like all the other men. He wanted to fit in and be a "big boy," if only he knew just how strong and powerful he truly was...
I saved his life, and he in turn saved mine..."
The painful memory of her betrothed being sent as an assassin to kill her and frame the child. Attacking at the child, knowing Midori would defend him with her own body, he left a wicked scar across her back a horrible reminder. Before the sleeping dragon awoke, and crushed the man to death with raw chakra force and a mastery of three elements as one.
"This may not change your thoughts of me and I would understand it, but it is law that no child is to be forced or granted access into the life of the shinobi. Shizukana became one to save his life unknowingly, to this day he thinks its all games; and his unbreakable spirit is ever present in his youth."
She looked at her and smiled softly, replacing her sorrow and pain with ehr pleasant motherly mask.
"Please drink, you feel a week's worth of rest and stronger than yourself and a half. If you have time... perhaps you would like to play with him? He is still a child and ever since I was appointed Hokage, it has been hard on him."
She waited for Yuko to finish speaking before waving off her genjutsu, and sitting politely as if Yuko was her superior and dictated when their conversation was finished. "Up from the destruction, a new spark of life emerges."

The captain yelled, heave ho, heave ho, and tied me down with sheets, A storm is brewing in the south, its time to go to sleep. His Berth, it rocks, heave ho, heave ho, The ocean gnashed and moaned Like Jona will be swallowed whole and spat back teeth and bones.Yuko Hyuga...and what happens when he comes across someone who isn’t playing around, and that person takes the child’s life? How will you be able to justify his death to yourself? How will you explain to him that this isn’t a game… or that human lives are never anything to play with?” Yuko pondered out loud, she continued to look at the boy as he played in his own little world. ”What if he kills someone while playing? What if it is another child? If he is skilled enough to do as you say, perhaps you should take some precautions with him, then let him have a normal life. I can’t condemn you for your choices, I would probably do the same if I was in your position. The situation is complicated, but at the same time it should be something that you take time out and address. Things will only get worse if you ignore them and hope that they go away. As a leader, sometimes it the most difficult path that one must travel down for the betterment of the clan and its people, and those difficult choices are never easy to make. But things will get worse if they are not made and action taken to make them work.” Yuko looked down at her tea, she supposed that it would be the polite thing to do. Grabbing the tea gently she brought it up to her lips and took a sip. It was a pleasant tea that did as it was supposed to do. Yuko relaxed a little bit. ”It’s a sad world we live in, isn’t it? Forcing those who are younger than we are to fight for our elders who are far too old, when it should be the other way around. Yuko wasn’t sure what more to say or to do now, she had said her piece and Midori said hers, they seemed to agree to disagree in a way about the subject, but at least they knew where each other stood. Yuko let Midori drop the shield as she continued to nurse her tea silently for a few minutes. ”I… don’t mind playing with him every now and then. I’m sure we can arrange something.” Yuko watched the boy play in the corner for a few more minutes while she finished her tea. After it was gone she stood up. As reenergized as she felt, she would still love a good night sleep. She looked over to Midori and bowed once more. ”I should catch up with my team mates now. Is there anything else I can do for you, Midori-dono?” Yuko Theme Hush love, hush love, Here's your gown, There's the bed, lanterns down But I don't want to go to sleep, In all in my dreams I drown.

"Fear not the damage of nature.." Midori smiled at Yuko's choice in words as she was perceptive and wise beyond their years.
"Hmm, a wise choice of words. Fear not, he does not lose control with other children nor adults, it seems I did not explain properly. You see, this boy is possibly the strongest being I have ever met, and I am not sure he can die, not like you or I would normally."
However, the young Hyuga seemed to be firm in her disposition and reluctant to forgive the trespass against her position on the matter. AS she mentioned leaving Midori waved to her,
"Feel free to do as you wish, however, your teammate have been assigned a new mission. Do not fear, this is not a punishment, in fact it is an opportunity to relax or perhaps train. Whatever you may choose, take Shizukana with you. I find when most vexed about a situation I have no control over, a child's mind is the best insight to inner clarity and peace."
Midori bowed in turn and began to gaze off into the distance. Meanwhile, Shizukana walked over to Yuko tugging on her sleeve.
"Where to now Onee-san?" "Up from the destruction, a new spark of life emerges."
