Henchmen: There is a new henchman system in play. In addition to simply making another PC, you can now find or recruit NPCs who will fight (and die) for you, and gain a percentage of experience in combat, while being completely trainable and customizable outside of combat. By choosing to train your henchman, you can accelerate their growth in exchange for taking time out of your busy, mook-slaying schedule to give them special attention. Pay close attention to training your henchmen, as they will be able to train minions themselves, and minions will be the primary attack force of the armies of tenkuu no houou. Minions are unable to train themselves, so a henchman officer is a necessary component of any army, if you ever want it to be self-sufficient or even capable of being of use in a fight.
Henchmen are gained at particular events, or during very particular circumstances when training minions. For now, check the Henchmen thread in the main dbz forum.
When you gain a henchman, you draw up a character sheet for them in the usual way, however, the character sheet will be posted below. Your henchman do not have to be fully fleshed out characters (though props if they are) they simply have to be there. Keep in mind that you can bring henchmen into battle with you, or you can have them fight or act for you, but the definition of the henchman is that it will be unwaveringly loyal. These are your most trusted servants, and should not be done away with lightly, however they will never progress as fighters if you never allow them some room to breathe, either, so it's a balancing act.
You may have one henchman for every 10 points in charisma beyond 10 (so 20, 30, 40, 50, equal 1/2/3/4 respectively, and your henchmen can not have henchmen of their own, although they can train henchmen and minions that you leave in their care, though this means your henchman is unavailable while training them, and is a time-consuming affair.
Every henchman will be awarded a percentage of your experience points based on the number of henchmen that you currently have under your wing, and do not gain bonus experience or bonus stats (meaning they only gain their level bonuses). The only way to increase a henchman's abilities stats and skills is to level them up, and so it is not a terrible thing to start them at level one (which is where most henchmen will start, except in the special cases of minions the become henchmen or NPCs that already have established stats that become henchmen. Certain potential henchman created by the moderators may have special leadership costs but come with special advantages or higher levels of ability.
