Pan spent a good deal of time meandering through the hallways of the dormitories. Once he had left his sister's side, the spacy young man had had quite an ordeal finding his own way to the room he'd been assigned. He lacked the natural sense of direction many of his kind had, but then, that had never surprised him, he lacked a lot of things the rest of the fauns had. He had never missed out on much for it, as Freya was usually able to find the way. Except now he was expected to do so on his own, and the thought of it vexed him.

He opened up the empty room and had a good look around- it was nothing extraordinary, and had an irritating lack of the sort of miniscule details he usually enjoyed, but at least it was quiet. He pulled his bags in and proceeded to put his things away as best he could for all of 10 minutes before he uncovered an old puzzle box among the packed objects and lost all drive for productivity in working on opening it. Inside the fair sized box that he had wrestled open, there lay a few little books and a wind up toy- he set the toy aside and sat down on his bed, beginning to flip through the books to continue his procrastination.

Having lost much of his awareness in the book he was reading, Pan did not notice the older boy's arrival at first. In fact, until he spoke Pan was entirely unaware of his entrance. He froze for a moment, eyes still trained on the page, nervous to look up and see what he might be facing. His dark eyes flickered over from the book to the other resident briefly, but it seemed he had decided he was more comfortable looking at the pages. "Y-yeah, I'm Pan." He answered after a moment, "You're..." He paused, as thought trying to figure out what came next in a conversation, clearly rusty at the whole procedure of meeting people. He gave up on the half formed sentence, and looked to the books instead. "Have you read all of those? You must read alot." He said, voice barely above a mumble.
