Appearance Description: Dorobo
First thing you notice about Dorobo would have to be his freaking hair. It naturally spikes up, giving him another few inches in height. It's purple too, so it is one of the first things people tend to notice about him. Dorobo's hair is naturally colored, meaning that he doesn't dye or otherwise tamper with it to achieve the odd coloration. If anything, Dorobo stands to be proud of his hair, which at times can freak people out.
Dorobo has a gentle face, that has yet to be lined with age. Unlike the rest of his body, Dorobo's face shows little of the fat. He has a sharply angled nose, which doesn't seem to large or small. His grey eyes lie under a thin brow, which gives Dorobo a permanent expression of half-wonder. Dorobo is thin of lipped, which only enunciates the look of wonder.
Dorobo's body isn't thin, by any standard. He is thickly muscled in his arms and legs, but his midsection is lined with a thick layer of fat. Even though he has little hair on his body, the fat tends to attract attention. Not that Dorobo really cares, after all. He eats to survive, and that's all that matters to him in the end.
Dorobo wears the same outfit, everyday. He has multiple pieces of the same exact clothing. Dorobo's outfit, at the same time as being the exact same every day, gives him an odd, savage monk appearance. Te coloration of both his shirt and pants is a dull, mustard yellow, that in the right light gives off a right sheen from the fabric. His top is made up of a yellow, fur trimmed robe. The robe is small, and only hangs down to his upper thigh. He usually keeps the robe tied with an obi sash around his middle, with the rob held loosely together, and wide open, to show his midsection and upper chest. Dorobo keeps a simple white wrapping around his upper body, which pulls in his wide gut, and serves as a sort of under armor to light attacks. It doesn't stand up to much, but it is still there. Many speculate that Dorobo uses it to keep his appearance at least somewhat slimmed, but no one has dared to ask the large man. Dorobo's pants are very similar to his upper robe, wherein they are made of the same material, and trimmed in the same colored grey fur. The pants reach down to just above Dorobo's ankles, before the fur trimmed edges tickle just above the tops of his feet. Dorobo does not wear shoes, and instead wears wrappings on his ankles and to the middle of his feet. Dorobo likewise keeps his hands and forearms wrapped in cloth, for both light armor purposes and to support the joints and tendons in the fragile moving areas when he engages in hard training or the various forms of hakuda he specializes in.
Dorobo uses this all in conjunction to appear much like a monk of some sort. Like the shaolin monks he adores, Dorobo could fit in with any of the human world groups if he so desired. There are days when he lounges around a bar, or a wide open natural landscape, and sits cross legged, so as to further this notion.

Character Strengths: Dorobo is a very headstrong, yet caring person. At the same time, he boasts incredible strength and durability, which is odd for a former doctor. He boasts great skill in Hakuda as well.
Character Weaknesses: Dorobo has absolutely no skill when it comes to using a zanpakuto. This is due to the constant release type nature of his weapon, which in turn gives him no blade to use. This would be considered his main weakness.
Dorobo also has a huge penchant for food. It can get him in trouble at times.
Motto/Quotes: " Do I smell... Food? " " I like eating. What'can I say? "
" Power comes from the heart, my friend. Use your heart, not your head, in battle. You can never lose if you put your heart forth, and breath in the aroma of confidence. " - " Fear is a construct created by the depths of one's own thoughts. You should never fear something. Only realize there is danger. "
Personality: Dorobo is a very caring, headstrong, stubborn, and calm minded person. He gives off an air of being some wise old guru; one who sit's cross legge all day preaching wisdom. Dorobo, in fact, enjoys the act of teaching others, learning from others, and creating a huge passage of knowledge that few others could ever wish to attain.
While Dorobo isn't the smartest of people, he is very wise. He uses the great deal of smarts that he does have to help give others knowledge, and to help figure out day to day problems. For Dorobo, each day is another riddle to be unwoven.
Dorobo is also known for his love of nature and hard drink in the same intensity. He will sit outside, listening to the chirping and roaring of animals for hours, possibly even days at a time, without a single movement. He shows some odd dedication to the art of gardening, and even to sand gardening. He likes the natural order of things, and will usually try to preserve the environment in the middle of a battle. At times, this can appear foolish, such as him blocking an attack that would surely damage his body, just to save a tree or two. His love of drinking is also well known, just as his love of nature is. If the man isn't seen outside, all one would have to do is screen local dar or taverns in order to find his location. He enjoys the intoxicating effects of alcohol, and is usually seen with a flask or even a bottle to enjoy it on the go. After years of drinking, it takes large quantities to put him under the table, but he enjoys himself nevertheless.
Ultimately, Dorobo fears only a few things. The most prevalent of those fears is the one of losing his eyesight. The power his zanpakuto affords him comes at the price of his vision, which he holds as one of the greatest gifts of existence. He would do almost anything to save his vision before it is gone forever, and at that point, Dorobo would give up his life if it meant one more second of seeing. Dorobo also has a deep claustrophobia, which even through experimental means he was unable to cure. If there are too many people in a room, or the room itself is too small, Dorobo will begin sweating, and worrying. As a result of his fears, Dorobo has taken to chewing his nails, like a nervous tick. If you see him chewing away, one can assume there is something making him afraid, or at the very least somewhat worried.

Carried Weapons: None
Fighting Styles:
Hakuda - Dorobo displays the utmost of skill in this area of combat. His expertise in Hakuda was brought upon him by his constant lack of a blade to use, forcing him to rely on Hakuda as his main form of close quarters combat. At the same time, his abilities become stronger with the application of touch, so Dorobo sought this field of combat out as his go-to form.
As such, Dorobo boasts unparalleled skill in the art of Hakuda, with a large concentration on creating contact with an opponent, at least for a second. His thousands of years of experience has lent him a skill that few, if ever, could attain.
Kido - Dorobo boasts an incredible amount of skill in the art of Kido. He is so trained and natural in the art, that over time he has created what many refer to as " The Greatest Healing Spell Ever. " While Dorobo's skill can be seen with Hado and Bakudo, his true culmination of raw power and peerless skill lies in the activation and use of Healing Kido spells.
Hoho - Dorobo never was the fastest person. While he has great ability to move unilaterally from point a to point b in due time, his speed would leave many arriving before he would if it were a foot race. This is not to say the man is not quick however.
Dorobo has speed where he needs it. Evasion techniques aren't in his forte, due to his large size and weight. Instead, he uses a technique similar to shunpo throughout the rest of his body; not singling out his feet alone. This in turn funnels into speed that is engaged through the use of Hakuda.
Strength: Immense - Dorobo has an extremely large amount of raw power that he is able to force out. As natural with large men, he has a huge amount of muscle hidden underneath the layers of fat on his belly, and his arms are likewise strung with muscle. It's normal to see Dorobo throwing things around as if they weighed not even a quarter as much as they did.
Speed: Average - While Dorobo isn't a very fast individual, his speed when using Hakuda is extremely high classed. He can move his limbs quickly and with such speed that many believe it impossible for a fat man. This isn't to say that his shunpo speed, and his speed when not striking isn't great/
Intelligence: High - Dorobo isn't so much smart as he is wise. He has the knowledge needed to create kido and likewise the smarts to use what he knows in solid ways. As noted, Dorobo is a very wise individual, and is much more wise than he is actually intelligent.
Stamina: High - Dorobo has the ability to use large reserves of his reiatsu or his strength and push himself further. He can waste large amounts of energy, and still have more to give. As a result, it isn't rare to see him use up large reserves of power, and continue on.
Durability: Immense - Dorobo can take huge amounts of damage, and continue on through said damage as if they were but cat scratches. He treats fatal wounds as moderate, and as such, strikes that may have taken someone else out, he can continue on never the worse for wear. He notes that a close combat fighter needs this sort of durability in order to get their techniques in effect.
Advanced:
Spiritual Pressure: Dorobo, naturally, boasts a huge amount of reiatsu. This reiatsu size can be classified as Monstrous, lest for his control over the large mass.
Dorobo's reiatsu is of large size and peculiar density. While in a natural state, Dorobo can give off massive quantities of reiatsu, wherein the energy can kill a human, or those of low spiritual pressure, by merely being around it. It's natural density is what causes the real problem in this case; Where other reiatsu of this size may not affect those in the environment, instead it is the density that would do the killing. It is so incredibly dense that it can literally crush those around him if applied with due force and magnitude.
While retaining this power, Dorobo's reiatsu naturally has a charged effect, as if it were filled with electrical energy. This is in fact the portion of power his zanpakuto gives him. It naturally deals with ki, which many belief systems refer to as " Th Energy of Life. " In this case, it results in an electrical effect within his reiatsu, that can in some cases cause people's hair to rise up as if they were charged with static electricity.
Swordsmanship/Accuracy/Other: While Dorobo has many strengths, Swordsmanship would have to be his greatest weakness. Most shinigami have a sword, or some form of weapon throughout their release states. Dorobo, however, boasts not even the tiniest of physical weapons; his lies entirely in the use of his eyes.
For this reason, Dorobo has absolutely zero skill in the art of zanjutsu. He has not only barely used a blade, but he has not used said blade since he first gained his shikai, which veritably, must have been thousands of years ago.
Special Training: Hakuda - Dorobo has trained his Hakuda to the maximum that can be attained. He is still learning, but his ability, as of yet, is unmatched in any individual seen. For this reason, Dorobo can be considered The Master of Hakuda.
Personal Abilities: Reishi Sense - Dorobo has a very powerful form of vision, similar to that which the blind soul reapers use. By sensing not only his own reishi and how it's affected by others, but the reishi of other's as well, Dorobo can create a field of vision that spans three hundred and sixty degrees around his body, with a blind spot that is around the middle of his lower back.
For this reason, hiding one's reishi isn't as effective against Dorobo as it would be others, letting him sense those who wish to be unseen. He can also gauge emotions through this reishi sense, feeling if a person is enraged, happy, sad, or anything under the emotional spectrum.
Dorobo has described it to other's as best he could. When he normally has his eyes closed to avoid the use of his eyes, and further weaken them, he sees with the reishi. Naturally, it appears like a greenish blue landscape, with spots of color where other reishi interacts. By pushing his reishi into the environment, Dorobo can sense where inanimate objects are, and go around them based on where his reishi bounces off, creating lighter green, and giving rough estimations of what objects appear to look like.
If Dorobo is struck blind, he plans on upgrading this technique to the maximum, allowing him as close to true sight as possible.

Unknown Number/ Personal Kido:Toretanto Kiikanmaku:
Toretanto Kuukanmaku isn't so much of a spell as it is a series of techniques under an all-encompassing name. When this name is said, it refers to the technique that the former Shinigami Captain, Dorobo Hason, created during his time as captain. He speciallized in healing spells, and upon finding the ones that weren't forbidden to be either to weak or too useless in battle, went about his way to create this technique.
This spell's effect will create a small black box of anti and multi dimensional energy, similar in composition to a construct. Within the area of the figure, time and space are both negated. When asked, Dorobo explained it with these words. " It's pretty much tellin' time and space to just stop for a second or two. Time and space get all confused, like ' What's this guy to tel us off? ' they get all pissy, and that's when a paradox happens. Next thing ya' know, there ain't a single thing wrong. "
As Dorobo artfully explained, the spell's mechanics opperate on the basis of creating a space of negative time and space, whereupon the objects within the space that Dorobo had designated are returned to what is referred to as a " pure " form. In this case, it heals things, and that's all it is used for.
Dorobo not only refuses to teach how to create this kidou based upon it's extremely taxing power, but on the fact it could be used for violence. Healing and Violence don't mix in his book. With the current storyline, Dorobo is the only known user of this Kidou.
Zanpakuto Name: Engetsurin [ Circular Moon Ring ]
Zanpakuto Type: Kido/Melee
Zanpakuto Spirit:
Zanpakuto Sealed Description: N/A - Constant Release Type
Shikai:
Incantation: N/A
Appearance: Dorobo's weapon, oddly enough, does not take the form of any visible weapon. It changes the man's eyes, which in a Shinigami, to have one's body changed, not added onto, is an extremely rare occurance.
Dorobo, since Engetsurin is a Constant Release Type, has forever altered the shape and appearance of his eyes. Instead of having a colored iris, there is a blank white orb. Over this orb are three concentric rings that overlap at odd intervals, much like a portion of the Olympic Rings, only woven much tighter. These rings are a stark black over the white eye, which in turn, gives each of Dorobo's stares an extremely eerie quality.
There are no other changes to Dorobo's body. In turn, he does not carry any weapon, meaning that he offers no Zanjutsu in this stage.
Release Appearance: N/A
Abilities:
Dorobo's abilities in this form stem mainly from his eyes. There are no physical increases in ability, which is likewise rare for a shinigami to obtain in their release states.
Dorobo has two abilities, which operate on two opposite ideas. That of destruction and that of healing. This creates an odd connection to the eyes, where one eye is mainly used for the destructive techniques, and the other is used for the healing techniques. These abilities are extremely taxing upon Dorobo, simply for their power. For that reason, Dorobo does not always use this great power while he is in combat, or even outside of it. He uses kido and hakuda much before he is forced to use Either Kira or Daya.
Kira [ Ki Killer ] : This technique operates on the use of ki in a circuit to where Dorobo can create large amounts of destruction. The prerequisites require Dorobo to have at least one finger upon where he decides to use this power, as well as focusing his left eye upon that same spot. In a high speed combat situation, this may not be the best course of action. For this reason, Dorobo can likewise extend his power, and fire off a blast of energy from his eye that creates similar, but less powerful, effects.
The effects of Kira are reputed to be some of the most fear inspiring and destructive ever seen, or caused by a shinigami onto another's body. While it holds great power, it has little flash to it. A simple touch could lead to someones arm simply exploding, while a hand to the chest could destroy the entire midsection of an opponent. This can create a massive amount of fear onto those who watch; simply seeing this man lay a hand on someone, only for them to explode, or fall over gushing blood from cuts that were not there a moment before.
The ability works on the fundamentals of ki, similar to the breathing exercises seen in china. One would use their ki to create a circuit through a target's body, whereupon the user can begin to control the inside and outside of the targets body. With this, the user could make bones, skin, blood vessels, or anything of the sort break, or even make all of these overload, whereupon they explode in a blast of biological gore.
While this is a great and awesome power, there is a drawback that the user must endure. Each use of this technique draws upon the user's sight, steadily weakening it until they become blind. The technique will ultimately cause death is used beyond blindness for to many times.
For instance, upon gaining this power, he was informed he had exactly 10,000 uses before he would be struck blind. The more he used it, the more his vision would degrade. Currently, Dorobo has 40 uses left, and as a result, is legally blind. He has some semblance of vision left, but uses reishi sene for most of his sight.
Daya [ Serpent Medicine ]: This technique is the technique Dorobo has allocated to his right eye, and is defined by it's incredibly healing properties. One could compare it as being the polar opposite of the Kira technique.
Similar to the Kira technique, one uses their ki in a circuit to allocate control over the target's body. Instead of wreaking havoc and destruction, however, Dorobo instead uses this technique for magnificent healing powers, where diseases and wounds that would have been deemed incurable would instead be healed almost immediately on the spot.
This technique uses the users ki in conjunction with the ki of the target to create a union of powers, which in turn are directed towards the wound or disease sight. The energy will exacerbate the healing process, creating a new form of energy that is very similar to that of healing kidou. Wounds that before were deemed fatal could be turned around in mere seconds, and would be healed within the day.
This technique, instead of taking vision from Dorobo, requires an absolutely massive amount of reiatsu to use. At times, Dorobo could loose up to forty pounds whilst using this, forcing him to go and eat loads of food to stock back up.

Bankai
Incantation: " Bring forth light. "
Appearance: When Dorobo enter's bankai, the change isn't completely obvious. Instead of some ostentatious weaponry or armor, Dorobo's eyes undergo a change. His eyes begin giving off an extremely large amount of reiatsu that is seen on the visible spectrum as a vibrant rainbow of color. The area around his eyes also swells with blood, causing the veins to widen and bulge drastically. For a reference, think of a Byakugan from Naruto.
The general idea is that the blood increases the effectiveness of the eyes, and the extra power from they eyes is a result of said blood.
Release Appearance: N/A
Abilities: Dorobo's Bankai affords him a large increase in his destructive power, while removing his ability to do any good within said form. As a result, he completely loses his ability to form Daya whilst in Bankai.
As a result of losing his healing technique, Dorobo's Kira ability gains a massive increase in effectiveness. As a result, light touches can bringthe same effects of his shkai, and the blasts of energy he likewise has the ability to fire off become more lethal.
As such, Dorobo's power comes from his eyes, and creating a circuit with his eyes. The vast increase in destructive potential can be seen when the man gains a new form of power within the kira ability.
Currently, Dorobo has 40 uses left, and as a result, is legally blind. He has some semblance of vision left, but uses reishi sense for most of his sight.
When Dorobo enters Bankai, he gains a subability within Kira. When activated, Dorobo's right eye will glow with a blue light, similar to a lava lamp.
The ability, known as Distortion, stradles the line of ESP abilities. It allows Dorobo to create an axis of rotation wherever his eyes can see. When this technique is used on a flesh target, it can create gruesome dismemberments, and even deaths. This operates by creating the axis in the air, where an opponent's body would possibly lie. When the rotation is activated, the twisting motion rips things within the axis apart as if warping it like silly putty.
The eye requires a chanell, meaning that the eye must be locked on target for use, and Dorobo must remain staring at his exact target, or the ability will be dispelled. Since this is a location oriented attack, it can be somewhat easy to dodge. However, the invisibility of the technique makes this somewhat difficult. Higher leveled beings can see the form that his takes in the visible spectrum; red and green strands of reishi latching onto the target area, and twisting, forcing it to be ripped apart. This makes it easier for those with high power to dodge this, but still presenting the difficulty of evading it fully.
The size of the Distortion is variable, meaning Dorobo can freely change how large or small the warping is when activated. At the maximum, Dorobo can fully envelop a house with his eye, but this in turn makes the technique much slower than if it were smaller, and therefore easier to evade.
