Kurofuji left the Hokage's Office and took a while before he was ready. He needed to condition his mind, and as his mentor, the lady Sana Okazi asured, he hoped that he would be fine fighting this man. Teddy Okazi, a veteran Shinobi of the same rank as his relative.
The medic arrived at the Obsidian Lake and stood in an open field of rocks and gravel. In this place, there was no soft earth - only loose rocks, and boulders scattered about even up to the shores of the huge body of open water. Trees would surround the perimeter of the area, with little to no amount of forestry standing in the middle of their supposed battlefield, perhaps, one - two, three or four - four, tall trees that stood eight to ten feet, The sky was beginning to turn from a dying orange, to a nightly blue. The day's warmth was slowly being taken away by the cool night breeze, and because of the lake nearby, the air became somewhat cool and relaxing.
He stood in the open field with loose rocks and stones piled under his feet, creating a plane, flat, blanketted with stones gray as purgatory. Kurofuji was adjusting the weapons of his choice - leather knuckle gloves to protect his hands. Here, he waited for his supposed opponent. His demeanor, light and relaxed, but serious. He wanted to be promoted to chuunin, but more than that, he wanted to learn from this battle, and he wanted to prove himself worthy of being the student of one of the legends of this Shinobi World. Anytime now... He was only waiting for one Teddy Okazi to appear before him in this battlefield.

Teddy appeared as he slowly smiled at Kurofuji, he stayed calm and quiet as he stared him down. "Ready?" he asked as he began to take his cloak off revealing 8 swords that hes used many times in battle and in wars, two of the swords were the twin blades on kiri, these were legendary blades used by one of the great seven swords men. He bit his thumb as he formed hand signs slowly and threw his palm into the ground, in the puff of smoke a grizzly bear appeared. Teddy waited on his opponent to make a move.

"Ready,"he slightly pulled on the cuffs at his wrists, fastening the pair of gloves that he wore on his hands. Kurofuji took his stance, his left leg took a step back, body angled to the side while pressing his feet down to the ground by bending from the knees. His eyes were focused on the enemy in front of him, from this point on. Silence surrounded the area, and only the sound of the whistling wind could be heard. Kurofuji took in a good helping of air, and exhaled. Slowly, and painfully, his heart rate dropping slightly as he exhaled. The sound of his breathing would then die out, and everything would turn silent. Tension would rise dramatically in the surrounding air as his opponent revealed his weapons. One, two, three... Eight... Eight swords, and the summoning technique. A grizzly bear would appear before the both of them, and it dawned on Kurofuji that there was virtually no chance of victory for him. All he needed to do now, was play along and try to keep himself alive. In such desperate situations, he would try as much as he could to demonstrate his talents to the two. Whatever their judgement would be, he knew it would depend on his all out performance. Right - this was not a fight - it was a test...
"Time to do this,"Kurofuji mumbled from a distance - inaudible to the ears of his opponent. A sudden shift in his stance would have him almost immediately disappear from sight, in the blink of an eye. He reappeared a few feet closer to Teddy the following second. His hand was already in possession of a Kunai tagged with a red object. Dashing in a curved path from the right side, Kurofuji steadily neared, and as he was but five feet away, he aimed at the grizzly bear who stood tall in front of Teddy and threw the explosive projectile - not directly, but on the ground below their feet.
An explosion would occur that would destroy the ground beneath Teddy and his summoned ally. This explosion would send gravel and tiny rocks and solid particles flying into the air from the ground at quite a speed, enough speed so that it should be quite damaging. Stones and tiny objects of the rocky ground would act as shrapnel to the ones standing above and around the radius of the explosion after the Kunai and Tag detonated.
The instance that the tagged kunai escaped his hand, Kurofuji began creating seals, and molding chakra within his body with speed and precision. His eyes remained on his target - Teddy, up until burst of earth and a thick cloud of smoke covered him from the young medic's point of view. As of the moment, it was the other's turn to announce an attack, and he readied himself for anything that would come at him.

The grizzly bear formed hand signs rather quickly as it used a Doton move, it grabbed Teddy in a instance and dove into the ground and began to move around with him, this was a B ranked jutsu. Teddy and the bear were both out of sight or so that's what his young opponent. Teddy formed hand signs as he moved along the earth with the bear and waited.

The dust cleared and the opponent was out of sight. It was typical for a ninja to hide themselves after they made us of the cover provided by a smoke screen. After creating the hand seals, he would raise his fist into the air and allow for Chakra to gather, isolating the energy within his hand as it had been raised. His eyes would shift, from right, to left, scanning the open field, and then locking on to the explosion site. An unearthed portion was evident. He then realized the possibility of them hiding there... Yes... Maybe... Undergound. It was time to test that theory.
Kurofuji braced himself, taking a wider stance with his legs, and with his fist curled, he thrust it downwards to the ground. On the point of impact, he would release the chakra he had accumulated into the surface, creating a loud thunderous sound that would travel to the ground. Sound would propagate underneath, causing the ground below to shake violently as brought about by the sound of thunder. If there were any open pathways below the surface, it would almost instantly sink and crash, and thus, anyone hiding underneath him would be rattled to a great extent - their ears filled with loud, thundering echoes.
"Ikatsu,"he muttered.

Teddy visioned 100 yards behind the young genin, the ground began to ripple open as the bear didn't come up but a wisp of blue lightning had did, this was Teddy. The ground slowly closed as the bear was to be struct with ikatsu, the grizzly bear vanished out of the ground and out of the battle. Teddy struct the ground as he smiled and pulled the twin fang blades out "nice," he blurted out as he was holding back on this fight. Both swords stood straight up out of the ground as Teddy shoved them into the ground and began to use Shuen no Shikon (Lightning Burial: Banquet of Lightning), the swords began to generate a electrical current that targets a foe and chases for a good distance. A few more hand signs were formed.

Tunnels would collapse under the ground brought about by the thunderous noise brought about by Ikatsu. With quickness, the medic drew chakra to his legs and with a push, leaped into the air to avoid being consumed by the earth. He flipped backwards and twisted, allowing for him to turn the other way, and in perfect timing as well, for Teddy was already above ground, exposed. The veteran shinobi commented on the rookie's, his, display of skill, which made him a little happy. His mind, however, forced his body to work and focus, since, after all, he was up against someone who was able to easily kill him in a single strike. He had to get his mind in this game for as long as it would last.
"Thank you, sir,"he responded to the compliment as his feet touched the ground. He was about five feet away from Teddy now, towards his right side. With stable footing, he placed himself back into the stance he was in before. Kurofuji watched as his senior took out a pair of blades, and placed their tips into the ground. A good amount of electrical current became visible. It shot forth from the swords and struck Kurofuji, who, in turn, acted out as the electrical current zapped him...
"GAH!"he gasped as his body shook, his head thrown back, seemingly feeling the pain of being electrocuted... But then, miraculously, he recovered and without any effort at all returned to his normal standing stance - his body continuing to absorb the electricity that was being sent from the blade to his body. He smiled, and he slowly placed one foot after the other, nearing Teddy while not taking the effort to explain as to why he was not, in the least bit, affected by this jutsu. "Sorry, but Lightning doesn't affect me."
Kurofuji held out his right hand, and as the lightning struck his body, it had been redirected there, where he was slowly pooling chakra. He also drew forth chakra to his legs and feet, and with a release of chakra to the ground from his legs and feet, he pushed off and charged towards the man, sending his right hand to the ground. A surge of powerful electricity soon radiated throughout his body, converting the wisp blue lightning that surrounded him into pitch black currents of shocking energy. From his right hand which was lowered to the ground, merely two feet away from the man, six streams of what would appear to be black particles of energy emerged. Kurofuji had his left hand cocked back, gathering chakra as he pushed forth with his attack.
The streams of shocking black electrical energy would surge from his right hand, and rise like serpent heads to snap at Teddy the second later. Six rising streams of black lightning would be fast, like cobras ready to bite: one from above above, two from either side, and one coming from behind - surrounding him from all sides."Ranton: Laser Circus,"he mused, as the attack would come in to lock Teddy inside a cage-like projection of black lightning, cutting off his means of escape from all possible directions, and in a second, the curved electric currents, black in color, would come down on him, shocking him into kingdom come.
Kurofuji was serious, and he was in an attempt to display all that he could, no matter what it takes, to prove his worth as a Shinobi of the leaf.

Teddy had his hand seals set earlier, he watched the boy coming at him, he used a basic jutsu as he substituted with a nearby log that was not so far, he easily avoided the attack. Teddy flashed hand signs as the left eye of Teddy showed the Mangekyou Sharingan, he began to use Tsukuyomi God of the Moon (Moon Reader Technique) and miled as he looked straight into Kuro's eyes hoping the boy would look into his.

Eyes set on the target that once was, Kurofuji was not surprised at to see that his attack had only struck a plain log. Kawarimi - a substitution jutsu that he expected for he saw a flash of hand seals performed at such incredible speed, that even his reflexes could not match. This was no less from his opponent, Teddy, who was not even going all out on him. The power of a Sannin, the abilities that an elite possessed was truly amazing. A smile was drawn on his face, even at the thought of his attack completely missing its mark. It meant to him that he was giving his extraordinarily strong opponent a run for his money, more than that - he found himself enjoying the match.
"Not so fast!"the young medic exclaimed after seeing his enemy perform another series of hand signs, just as fast. He was holding his left arm back long enough.
Kurofuji skidded to a stop. The log which had taken the place of Teddy had been struck by his left arm, and was violently sent flying to the side. His right arm lowered, it grasped the black lightning in his hand, causing it to scatter and flash a short blinding white light screen. This would prevent eye contact only temporarily. Kurofuji lowered his head, and torso, contracting every muscle in his body, before releasing from it a good deal of chakra. From this point on, the genjutsu that Teddy had been attempting to put on him would fail. His abrupt release caused for his head to be thrown back. A wave of energy soon washed over his body, causing it to mysteriously glow. A faint black aura of light instantly blanketed his entire physique, making his energy levels rise completely."Invigorating Armor!"
Fourth stage Taijutsu of the Kaiser Fist Style which he had learned. His overall speed and physical strength would have a significant rise from this point on. But not only that, to begin with, Kurofuji already had immense physical strength, brought about by his talent to precisely control his chakra - sending the correct amount of energy to his muscles for it to function at an increased capacity without being damaged from being overworked. One of the perks of being a Medical Shinobi; clearly, he was nothing less of a prodigy.
With his Taijutsu Armor and improved physical strength combined, Kurofuji wasted no time. His left arm shot forth to the ground once the armor had been activated, causing for his fist to collide with the surface. All of the chakra it had contained had been released instantly at the point of impact. The earth beneath him shattered with a loud bang and a slab about the size of a door was dishelved and displaced from below in front of him. With an arm, the slab of earth had been raised by him so effortlessly, and with a quick spinning back kick, it was sent flying towards Teddy at an alarming speed."HAAAAAH!"Kuro exclaimed. The slab of hard earth would come at Teddy in no less than seconds, and if it struck, most likely, it would break a few of his bones"I'm not holding back!"
In mid air as he completed his rotation from the spinning back kick, Kurofuji started pumping chakra into his legs again. With his, his hands began to come together to conjur a string of hand seals in preparation for the next assault.

Teddy had the sharingan activated, his senses and everything was now increased, the attack that was coming upon him would be easy for him to avoid. Teddy formed hand signs quick as he turned into a bolt of lightning and vanished from where the earth began to cave in. A smile grew upon his face as he knew what type of taijutsu was being used "ah Kaiser Fist Style," he said aloud as he now was a few yards behind Kuro. Teddy smiled as he began to use Stage 5 of the Kaiser Fist Style it was the Lightning Release: Bolstering Armor, a purplish chakra began to leak out of Teddy revealing the crackling aura of Teddy. Everything about Teddy has no doubled, his moves, speed and strength have no increased and was able to detect many movements thanks to his sharingan, he formed another set of hand signs as a lightning clone was formed. Both Teddy and the clone nodded as they charged Kuro, the real Teddy formed hand signs as he began to use Seishuu Sonshitsu no Jutsu [ Control Loss Technique ], Teddy through out a jab his right hand out to hit Kuro's lower stomach as the clone threw out punches. If Kuro didn't dodge Teddy's attack then it would be a mess, Kuro's bladders would lose control and rather leave a mess in the boys pants.

The slab of earth flew along a straight line continuously even though it was supposed to hit something, Teddy's body, midway. The young medic, Kurofuji, did not take much time to see where it was headed, but only heard it crash over the ground soon as he turned his head around. His legs pushed him backwards to further distance himself from the enemy as as it appeared behind him. Teddy mentioned the Kaiser Fist Style, and Kuro was not much surprised to hear him knowing of this particular style of Taijutsu. As a veteran ninja, actually, Kuro expected no less, and also assumed that the man before him could also use, if not, was already a master of that particular style to a certain degree. Kurofuji smiled back at Teddy as he ran a small amount of chakra through his legs."How is my Taijutsu so far, Teddy-senpai? Does it match up to your expectations?"the young medic spoke responsively.
Kurofuji's hands were locked into forming hand seals, and there was still time. As of now, he had the advantage of distance from Teddy, and this was what allowed him to complete the jutsu he was trying to perform. The jutsu was just about ready though, and Teddy sure was taking his time, activating one jutsu after another. Not a single scratch on one of them, which meant that Kurofuji was doing quite well on his own. However, it was all about to change. With his Sharingan active, and a Taijutsu technique active, Teddy was making it more evident that Kurofuji had no chance of winning. After activating his Armor Technique, one which Kuro was still not familiar with, the medic noticed him conjure a clone of himself. Afterwards, it was Teddy's turn to attack. Kuro braced himself and stood firmly on the spot where he was now, about ten yards away. Though holding up a smile, the young medic grit his teeth, somehow, feeling the black abyss of disappointment drag him down from the pits of his stomach.
There was no winning this and he already faced that fact, but... Would his mentor look at him differently if he lost? He wondered. He was afraid of rejection, and afraid of the thought of being denied by the lady Sana to take him as a student, for he firmly believed that it was the only way for him to grow as a Shinobi. The only way, and the best way... It only took mere seconds for Teddy to displace his attack, but Kurofuji still had his guard raised.
The final hand seal! The jutsu was released just as soon as the punches were thrown at him. The shield was raised, and the water that rose around him like a raging whirlpool would negate all possible damage done to him. Precision, timing - key traits of a medical ninja."Suiton: Mizu no Tatsumaki!"
A raging whirlpool of torrential water almost instantly swirled around Kurofuji. Ultimately, Teddy and his clone who were standing within close proximity would be taken away by this current of water, and would be struck by it. It was a water style ninjutsu technique that was strong enough to become a shield, and a weapon at the same time which was strong enough to knock his enemies unconscious. As the water continued to rage around him, circling Kurofuji from all enemies around, his hands reached for something within his tool pouch. As a Shinobi, he was supposed to be relentless, and that was just was he was going to be. All out! Fight like it was your last fight - fight as if it was to the death, as the lady Hokage said.
Chakra filled legs pumped and released energy to the floor. This was timed with a jump; making his jump about twice or thrice as high. This sent the young medic a good six feet off the ground instantly. Taking his hand out from the tool pouch, he procured one more explosive tagged kunai, and right below him - at the spot where he was just a second ago, he threw the tagged kunai. Seconds before hitting the ground, the kunai exploded, and the area which the whirlpool had consumed was covered in a fiery mess. The whirlpool, combined with the explosion that followed only a couple of seconds later - chances of escape was less than ten to zero. The damage that would have been dealt to Teddy if he was struck by both attacks would be great - with the water making him near unconscious, and the explosion adding to that. But still, the main idea was to knock the man unconscious.
Kurofuji hovered in the air for a moment, and used his core muscles to flip him backwards as he was pushed back by the force of the explosion beneath him. The young medic landed a few feet away from the explosion site. He went back to his stance, and readied himself, for he knew that there was no way that Teddy was going to go down so easily.

After the smokescreen brought about by the explosion dispersed, the opponent was nowhere to be seen. Teddy had gone, and he had won. The only thing left to do now was to report to the Hokage's Office. Kurofuji locked his hands in a final hand seal before vanishing from the field in a spark of black lightning.
