Jezabelle clenched her teeth around the handle of her cleaver. Blood dripped off the sharp steel leaving a trail of crimson droplets behind her. Her eyes glinted hungrily and she surveyed the forest around her with a narrowed, predatory gaze. She stalked through the tree trunks with an almost feline grace, her long ivory locks dragging through the bloody trail she left in her wake.
She was a vision of perfection, an innocent, deceiving doll-like beauty, her mother's mirror. Her white coat seemed to glow in the stark moonlight, as did the warm blood splattered across her flanks and mouth. The dawn was hours away, so her silken black blindfold was tucked away safely in her saddlebag and her eyes scanned the surrounding forest hungrily. Since leaving Ignis, she had encountered what felt like endless cruelty and rejection. The pain of it tore at her soul, it was easier to embrace the hunger. Her eyes flashed with uncharacteristic cruelty, she would hunt anything she came across, even if it was another soquili. If they insisted on treating her like a monster, she would become one, and then perhaps she could find a place to belong among the darkest of her kind.
She finally reached what she had been searching for. She had wounded the creature earlier, it had finally lost its spark of life. The coppery scent enthralled her senses, making her feel almost dizzy as she bent closer.

Belle jumped as a despairing scream rent through the forest, she whirled around, her eyes flashing and her blade glinting menacingly. Behind her, a strange clinking noise drew her attention, oddly regular, and growing closer with each passing moment. Soon a large bloodstained stallion came within view, his clothing was ripped and soiled, he wore a hat with... rabbit ears?. She glanced backa t her kill through the corner of her eyes and grinned, she had already killed one rabbit tonight, perhaps that was a good sign. She wished she could reach the collection of syringes concealed within her pack, loaded with a paralyzing toxin, they evened the odds when she faced a larger opponent, and she could tell by the way the males eyes lingered around her kill that this meeting could very well turn ugly. MINE! a feral part of her hissed as she moved until she was standing over the body, the ground was soggy, she grimaced, the animal was bleeding out much too quickly. If she didn't wrap this up soon there wouldn't be anything left she was interested in. Whatever else Belle may be, she was not a meat eater. There were only a few hours until sunrise and she had spent most of the night hunting just to bag this one creature, game had been scarce in this section of the words. Perhaps she was now facing the reason why.
The male was at least a head taller than her, she scanned his body for potential weaknesses from beneath her lowered lashes before meeting his startlingly green eyes. Her face automatically assumed it's most appealing expression as she gazed up at him shyly, her seeming innocence at odds with the blood coating her body. "It's not polite to stare..." she suggested gently, her voice low and husky, her eyes coy as she slowly licked the blood from her lips.

"Trespasser?" her confusion was etched clearly in every feature, she didn't want to fight this stallion. He was much larger than her, she would be at a significant disadvantage, but she was quick and agile, that could even stakes... "Who claims this territory then? I saw no markings!"
She continued to hover over her kill, her eyes glancing down to measure to blood loss, it was too significant. The stallion had kept her distracted for too long, she would have to hunt more before the sun rose again. She snarled, abandoning the fluffy mess and stepped closer, "Look what you've done! What a waste!" Her eyes flashed with anger and then lingered on the bloodstains marring this stranger's strange clothing. She could see no wounds, but as he pulled out the concealed axe she began to imagine where they had come from. This stallion was clearly unstable, and he had just as clearly killed recently. She idly wondered who his previous victim had been and then shrugged, it mattered little. This male had cost her her meal, so is was only polite that he provide her with another. She wished she had her syringe out, loaded with a paralyzing poison, it had been a gift from her sister Sangria when she finished her lessons. It would have been simpler if she could get him to hold still, but she was too wary to put the cleaver down for the few seconds it would take to reach into her work bag. She would have to knock him out before she could take what she wanted.
Still, a fight would be unwise if it could be avoided. Meeting his eyes steadily she began to circle him, her movements slow and enticing. "I wouldn't dare challenge a strong, capable stallion like yourself of course... What did you say your name was? I'm sure we can work out this misunderstanding in a.... civilized manner, don't you think?" She was poised to pounce the moment she saw an opening.

Her delicate features twisted into a scoff, "Is that so?" Her eyes were focused on the weapon held fast in the grip of his teeth, searching for the minute flex of muscles that would signal imminent attack.
Temper lit his eyes, then confusion. That was good, she preferred him off balance. This stallion had cost her her prey, she didn't want to kill him but he had something she needed and she would have it, whether Douglas chose to give it willingly or whether she needed to take it by force. Something had changed in Belle since reuniting with her father and sister, a more primal side had surfaced and been embraced. She was tired of living in fear and struggling to conform to what society dictated her behavior must be, she wanted blood.
But she was a small creature, dainty and exquisite, and certainly not an experienced fighter. Overcoming an opponent through sheer physical violence was not her way. She had to make him want to surrender. Belle would first see if she could lure this stallion into submitting, if not, her knife was coated with a thin layer of paralyzing venom, courtesy of Sangria's lessons in toxicology. If she could get a good slice into him, it might slow him enough for her to take him. Might. Willing would be preferable.
Belle stopped in front of him, peering up into the large stallion's eyes from beneath her lowered eyelashes, her face adopting a flirtatiously demure expression as she sidled closer, "I had no idea, such a large, powerful stallion was guarding this territory. Mahapadma did you say? The name absolutely chills my blood. But you see, Douglas, my prey lies there drained and empty. I spent so much time and effort tracking him down, and now its useless. I'm so terrible tired, I'm not sure I have the energy to leave." His weapon was sheathed, she stepped closer slowly, hesitantly, keeping her movements deliberate and nonthreatening. Leaning foreword she gently traced the line of his bloody jaw with her nose until her mouth was next to his ear, "But, perhaps you have use for it still? We both have something the other wants, we could make a trade. Then you would be twice the hero, for chasing me away and for providing for your herd... You'd like that wouldn't you?" Her pristine coat was glowing softly in the moonlight, her intense crimson eyes held his gaze as she waited for him to make the next move.
