- The Ministry keeps in touch with the Muggle Prime Minister of the United Kingdom through the help of a portrait in the Downing Street office. However, The Ministry acts as its own governing body for the Wizarding World.
- Under-aged witches and wizards must refrain from using magic outside of Hogwarts unless in defense. It is a violation of school and Ministry of Magic rules.
- There are many laws that must be followed.
- Any laws broken will be evaluated and judged by the Ministry.
- Azkaban is still in use. Break the law and you might find yourself thrown in.
