When he was young, debt forced his family to move to Traverse Town, where he currently resides. His family opened a successful magic shop. One day, Nori was taking a walk, he was attacked by debt collectors. Nori tried to fight them off, but his magic was not yet strong enough. Suddenly, a Keyblade materialized into his hand. He used it to fight them off. He decided to only use this newfound power in times of emergency.
