A gargantuan industrial corporation centered around the production and sale of weaponry through both legitimate and illegitimate means. They are by far the leading arms manufacturer and military contractor throughout Gaia, and are one of the most wealthy and powerful companies on the planet. They have gained much favour with certain consumers for their policy of not asking too many questions about what happens to their wares once they're sold.
Finding its roots during the beginning of the Great Cataclysm, Black Kat Industries was quick to expand its profits and influence by taking advantage of the fear of Gaia's populous, and this fear and urgency helped better legitimise some rather dubious corporate practice. As well as this, Black Kat has also long maintained a sizable private army of its own, made primarily of mercenaries exclusively under their contract, for stated purposes of "Protecting the interests and safety of Black Kat .Ind and the employees thereof". In reality however, it is merely an excuse for them to exercise military power on their own terms, and for their own profit. These mercenaries are often contracted to various other groups for large fees.
Very little is known about the inner operations of the company or their board of executives, and Black Kat takes great care to maintain the secrecy of its inner workings. This is often times frustrating to those who would like to bring the law against Black Kat Industries for their numerous alleged crimes.
What is known is that the corporation is currently under the leadership of a man known only as Chairman Zacchaeus, and that he is one of the most wealthy people in all Gaia. These facts alone have made him a very powerful and dangerous individual.
The company's motto is a simple one, but one that fits them perfectly.
