Welcome, this is a kitten contest by Myself (La la Gucci) and Kamileunaire.
My Beautiful Doe Hyz'roo and Kami's Handsome Buck Rustlefoot have had the pleasure to become mates and give birth to Five beautiful kittens.
Four are handsome bucks while one is a beautiful doe. Most have edits that will grow more noticeable as their stages grow. All were done by the wonderful Rabid as well!
So lets meet the parents and siblings (Ones that have owners) Hyz'roo: A rather soft and gentle bunny, she is quick and light on her feet and often loves to meet and listen to other rabbit's stories. She has a heart of gold and mind just as soft. She does struggle with a missing part of her, this brings on nightmares that once awoken she forgets. You often find her up at night or early in the day.
One thing about her is she is always optimistic there are no times where she feels things cn not get better and this is just the way she is...for now.
Rustlefoot: Laid-back and observant, Rus is a kind-natured buck that gets along well with most anyone, including his children. It takes a lot to get on his bad side, and time spent as a hlessi has taught him that there is plenty of danger in the world. While he may seem easy-going, he isn't afraid to fight if pushed too far or if he's protecting someone he cares about.
Hrair'Hyz:
 Owned by La la Gucci
Being the youngest male and fourth born he is rather confident in himself as a buck. Hrair'Hyz was named for his stronger and bolder personality and spirit. He is not one to turn down a challenge and often will be the first to push his limits. He is very strong headed but has a soft spot for his family.
Notch:
 Owned by Kamileunaire
Third born male in the family he seems to be sweet-mannered like his parents, but also has an adventurous streak, always seeming to want to go where he isn't supposed to and wanting to explore the burrow.
Léeth
 Regiven to Epi!
Being the first born of the litter léeth is a rather different rabbit. He does not talk much, infact he hardly talks at all. He is quiet and prefers to keep to himself. You'll often find him pushing his littermates or giving them mean looks. However cold hearted he may seem he truly would put his family before himself.
OPEN NOW CLOSES jan.15th (may be extended if needed)

I want the weird one!Name: Flamboyant [Yup, it's a plant.] Personality: Like his name suggests, Lamb is full of his own inner color. It's thought he may have been so eccentric to make his little sister feel more at home with 'another girl', but the truth behind this is questionable. He shows an interest in kit-raising and decorating the warren with floral arrangements in the spring, with never so much as a wrinkle creasing the corner of his mouth in displeasure unless it's at his own design, much like his parents. Entry:There is was again. Lamb had been tying a menagerie of multi-colored dried grass and leaves by the mouth of the warren for autumn when he felt the cold shiver go down his spine, and he knew without looking that he was getting the look. With a swift intake of breath, he smiled brightly and turned, facing the pair of eyes that never seemed to want anything more than to give him paranoia. He avoided giving himself a once-over... well, at least for a short while. He couldn't help but feel there was a bug on him of some kind, or dirt on his fur. He adored his fur, so why let it get messy? Don't get him wrong... of COURSE he envied the fluffier coats of his siblings. But it wouldn't be NEARLY as much fun to primp up if it was his own, now would it? Acting rashly, as he was prone to, Lamb quickly assembled a garland of autumn's golds and browns, quickly draping it over his onlookers' shoulders and offering a loving tap to his nose. "If you keep that up, your face will get stuck that way, love." But, in Lamb fashion, he was back to his 'duties' before he could receive a response. He could thank him later, when the much-needed work was done.

I want the weird one!
Name: Snowy owl (Please don't nab his name!)
Personality: Aloof could be said, but really it’s not; he sort of has a way of daydreaming and thinking where it looks like he is actually paying attention to someone so his gazes goes right through them. Okay maybe aloof since one shouldn’t be day dreaming while someone’s trying to talk to you. No matter how unpleasant. He is gentle and loving, able to look past other possible disdain of him. That’s not to say he isn’t hurt by mean or rude things said. However he will turn his back to the name caller; certain then anything that Frith has a reason for his white colors; and one day he will be a brave and important rabbit to the warren.
Entry: Response one Snow gazed up at the sky, watching clouds where he should have been watching for Elil; but he trusted the adults around him to do that. He had more important things to do; such as imagining himself large and strong; brave and with stories of his battles to protect the warren. He could almost see it, but he caught movement and twitched as he was stared at. Really, It wasn’t the first time, likely not the last. He set his ears back and stared back. “Go away,” he sighed. “Don’t you have something more important to do, like stuffing your face and making a mess of yourself?” He stared for a bit more than simply turned his back on the other rabbit.
Yes, his fur as white; yes his nose pink and sure he wasn’t fluffy but really was that so important? Frith would not have allowed his fur to be colored so unless there was a plan for it; nor that his fur was sleek while his siblings had tuffs and fluffs of fur where as he did not. Who knows, certainly not them and even himself! He glanced then at his own fur, white as snow with soft grays. He matched winter well. Looking at it, he enjoyed the color; it was different, he was not just another kitten of his litter; he was the white one, the one like snow and a name to match. Pleased with his own certainty of his looks he took a mouth full of grass. Yes, nothing wrong with his fur, and one day he would prove to his litter mates just that.

I want the weird one!
Name: Thlay'Rah (furry prince n-n)
Personality: Calm, soothing, the peacekeeper of his family. He might be the only colored one but he's never felt strange. He's often in the middle of fights with his siblings Can be quiet and introverted when he's by himself. Dreams of love and friendships. Can seem kind of simple minded. He isn't, he just has simple dreams.
Entry: Rah opened his eyes the first time to see his mother and his siblings. This strange new world consisted of four other little wriggling bodies and his much bigger marli. He was already used to her, she liked to clean them all regularly, he already lover her. He looked around at his other siblings, fuzzy balls of fluff in shades of brown and grey. He looked down at his own fur and noticed her was white and grey, different...yet the same still. Momma's feet and nose where his color! He smiled and snuggled up next to his sister and brothers. Family, his family, his little heart seemed to feel like it was bursting with feelings of love and happiness.

I want the weird one! Name: Drift Personality:
Drift is a gentle and friendly rabbit, doting on those around him - especially those younger than himself, which earned him the mocking nickname of "marli" while he was an outskirter. At first it bothered him, but true to nature, he shrugged it off, just as he tends to shrug off all insults. He's always ready with a laugh or a joke, which is his way of coping with frustration and anger, not that he's had much reason to be outside of general kitten arguments and shenanigans. While he isn't much one for a scrap and would be happy to be a stay at home parli as an adult, he wants to contribute to the warren to the best of his abilities - his best ability will come to him when he sees the snow for the first time. While being the palest of the kittens, despite two others being only a few shades darker, may have earned him mockery, his white and dappled gray fur makes him excellent for blending in with the snow. He'll get it in to his head that he should be a runner - a forager, particularly in winter, when he'd blend in and other rabbits would be beacons to elil. Just because he is gentle and kind doesn't mean he lacks a competitive streak, which will be obvious for all to see when he starts practicing to become a runner for the down.
Entry:
Drift, named for the snow drifts that draped the down in winter time, peered out of the burrow cautiously. It was only recently that his marli and parli would let the kittens explore so far and he was thirsty for change and excitement, like most little bucks his age. It wasn't something that would be tempered by warnings or chiding. This was about the age where little ones could easily be picked off by elil, especially this time of year, and he was no exception to the rule, yet he wanted to be out of the burrow's safety so badly, to dash through the partially melted snow and feel the fresh, nippy breeze in his pale coat. It was fortunate, really, that they had managed to keep all five kittens alive thus far, given the famine that tickled at the paws of the down and the scarcity of food.
"Maaaaaaaa, can I go out there for just a moment? Pleeeeease?" He stretched out his words in a whine most parents would be familiar with, his pale nose wiggling as he took in the scents. He glanced back, tiny ears pert, though they quickly flattened as he shot her the most pathetic look he could possibly muster. At the disapproving look on her face, however, he was sure of her answer. Instead of keeping his eyes on her, he sheepishly let them rove over his siblings - one older and the rest younger. Maybe he could co-conspire with Hrair'Hyz later. Maybe they could both ask and maybe then, just maybe their marli would seriously consider letting them play out in the snow for a short period of time. The youngest of his brothers was just as adventurous as he, perhaps maybe even a bit more so.
Drift was the palest of his siblings, something that brief glance brought to his mind, but he didn't dwell on it for long. There wasn't much reason to. Sure, perhaps he was paler and not nearly as fluffy, but that didn't matter to him. Maybe other kittens mocked his fur sometimes, but that didn't matter, either. They were all rabbits and they were all full of tricks. He just wished he had that extra fluff to stay warmer in the winter, though their combined body heat kept it fairly toasty at the moment. He'd be glad for thinner fur come summer time, though he had no way of knowing that at the moment.
"Hah, it's way too cold right now, anyway." He gave a small laugh, hoping to cause his mother's disapproval to fade. Oh! Surely he could find some little pebbles in the burrow.
"Anyone up for a game of bobstones?"

I want female power! Name: Grizel Personality: Short-tempered - Grizel can be pushed over her anger thresh hold quite easily, specially when others compare her to her brothers. She cares not for them, as far as it comes to family, she could chew, sometimes literally, someone's ear off. Driven - With her home life not what she would call a happy one, Grizel wants to prove that she is more then anything her siblings thought she would be.
Entry:
Youngest, smallest, darkest of the bunch, she knew it all, but she didn't care. Sitting in the back of the burrow, head hunched, shoulders in close, those baby blues watching her family. How her father loved her brothers and most the time her mother as well. What made her different? Not one if the 'boys', Oh Yes, she was a girl. She had her moments alone with her beloved mother, but then there were times all she heard was talk about her brothers.
There was great promise in them, owsla in the making for some, Runner for another. Perhaps even Captain if one worked hard enough and showed greater promise, but no one seemed to care about her future. No, she was a doe, destined to litter to strong bucks to strengthen the line. It made her skin crawl, she wanted to do SOMETHING with her life besides remain down below, in a burrow. So, sitting there watching her brothers she pondered, feeling like the black sheep of the family, her own thoughts blurred and unheard by the whims of her brothers. Grizel would make something of herself, she didn't exactly feel that close to any of her family. But surely that could be changed, right?

Quote: I want female power!Name:shadow Personality: she knows she is the only girl but she makes sure they wont act like she is. she is silly and outgoing and sometimes she is'nt the smartest in her family! Entry: The sun is finally out on this winter morning. Shadow scurries outside trying to get out before the boys to hide from them, but as soon as they get out they spot her black fur in the white snow instantly. She felt dumb but acted as though she was joking with her older brothers. Shadow saw her two oldest brothers fighting. Her oldest brother of course won. She marched up to him and challenged him to a fight, she new she had to be the toughest, otherwise who else would be? She unfortunately lost but after she did she started licking at her paws not caring and said "Oh brother, I hope you enjoy that feeling of winning because as soon as I start trying to win you will wish I never did." With that she hopped away chin up and acted as though she was yet the toughest of their family.

"I know you never meant to do, all the things you put me through. It's ok I forgive you." I want female power! Name: Roo'brek
Personality: Roo might be the only girl but she doesn’t let that stop her. She has a serious personality on her, very outgoing and driven. She is a scrapper and isn’t afraid to show her teeth if need be. She loves her family, and is proud to be fluffy like her daddy. She feels being the only girl just makes her that much more special and that Frith has great things planned for her. She strives for perfection, and doesn’t like laziness and tends to remain no nonsense even when others are being playful around her. She is always challenging her brother, Hrair'Hyz.
Entry: Roo was cleaning her ears, sitting near her parents as they searched for silfray. She had already eaten some and was now vaguely watching her brothers tussle with each other. It wasn’t something she usually took part in, actually ever took part in. She wasn’t like those reckless siblings of hers, though it was mostly Hrair’Hyz. He always caused such a ruckus, and could be such a brat. She turned her nose up and it was then that he started in. “You should have been a boy.” How many times had she heard that? She scoffed at him and turned to look at him, releasing her ear from her paw as she did so.
“Should have been a boy? Are you kidding? How dreadful that would have been.” She stated softly but with firmness behind it. She clearly wasn’t interested in what her brother had to say. “Why would I want to be a boy? They are smelly, dirty; never know when to act right.” She snorted at him softly before prancing over to poke him lightly in the chest fluff. “Besides, being the only girl makes me special. I’m not like the rest of you; I stand out naturally where as you lot are all the same.” She wiggled her little tail at that and stuck her nose in the air turning about to hop away from him. “Clearly Frith has big plans for me.” She called over her shoulder as she moved to sit next to her daddy, going back to cleaning her ears. "Just know that when you see me cringe sometimes, I'm trying to rid the poison from my mind."

I want female power!
Name: Chirp
Personality: It might have something to do with growing up the youngest, but Chirp is rather modest, preferring to stay back while her brothers get the attention. It doesn't bother her much, instead she enjoys the slightly less worrisome life that comes with being last in line. She believes there's less expectation, but don't let that fool you into thinking she's lazy. Chirp is more than willing to play or work when called to it, and she seems to be fit for running, able to keep up a fast pace for slightly longer periods than most would assume. Sometimes she even pretends that if she runs fast enough, she'll be able to fly, which is a bit silly, but she understands all too well that playing pretend can't change reality. It's worth it, even if every once in a while she catches flack for being a daydreamer. She's tolerant of the teasing, though, and somewhat difficult to ruffle, but at times she sure does wish her brothers would tone it down a bit so she could concentrate more on one of her favorite pastimes, listening to the birds sing outside the warren.
Entry: When she was old enough that her ears finally started working, she couldn't remember if it had been her name or the song of the birds she'd heard first. A chirp was a chirp either way, but she found she favored the latter of the two. It was quite often so gentle and soothing, the twittering of the tree-dwellers. It was enough to take her to some place beyond the world of dark and dirt and root, far past the noise of her brothers when they'd wrestle or the talk she heard of their promise. Of course, there were always words for her, as well, but in the comfort of her own mind being the youngest meant less expectations, less to prove. Chirp was not foolish enough to think she could live without care, but she valued those extra few minutes of solitude and peace, here and there, whenever she could.
When she couldn't, it was easier to find her plastered to her father's side instead. Because sometimes she would use all that fluff he sported to try and cover her head and drown out the sounds of roughhousing when the birds weren't quite loud enough to sing over it. Now was one of those times. This day she couldn't even dream of getting close enough to the surface to hear a thing but the stillness of the earth cut short by the pounding of many a rabbit's foot. There had been warning of elil nearby early that morning and only the brave, or perhaps the foolish, sought to stick their heads out into the world now. Despite the fear that always was when such warnings went out, it had been some stretch since then, and she found herself dozing without really meaning to.
It was a pleasant half-sleep, at least until a rogue pebble startled her awake as it tapped against her body from somewhere across the burrow. When she had calmed enough to open her eyes—surely it wasn't a monster, because papa would have protected her if it was—the sight was one not unfamiliar. It seemed her brothers had been playing, bobstones maybe, but now it looked like everyone was more occupied with tipping their heads in her direction instead. Chirp's ears swiveled forward, but she meant to ignore it, and started to set her head back down when a chorus of thumping paws woke her right back up again. Alright, her eyes conceded and soon she rose, but she was slow about stretching and meandering over.
"You'll probably win," she warned. It was in her nature to say so, but that didn't mean she wouldn't give it a go, and probably end up pretty decent competition, too. Just so long as she didn't start daydreaming about the birds.

I want female power!Name: Yera’léao (lit. snow night)
Personality: Yera’léao is a pleasant little rabbit and all you could ask for; kind, polite, and always willing to help. While those traits are nothing new her personality really spawned from her need to please and hear praise; since she was the youngest in the litter - not to mention the only female - she felt she had to really prove herself to others, especially her family. Though it’s very unlikely that her family would be disappointed with her she is absolutely terrified that one day it will happen. Of course every young kit has some questionable traits and Yera’léao is no exception. The small doe is very much willing to play the youngest to get what she wants within her family. Also she’s actually quite a sore loser and her pride can be damaged easily; if she doesn't do things right she feels likes she has displeased all those around her and she has quickly conditioned herself that she can not lose, she can not do anything bad. This is slowly put a crushing weight in her mind that she can‘t get rid of. So, with thoughts of satisfying everyone and somehow becoming great she looks to the future and hopes she’s able to find a well ranked place in their society; a place among the runners, or Frith above, even become a member of the Owsla.
Entry: They were lucky, for this litter must have been blessed by Frith. Five kits at the beginning of a particularly harsh winter, and all had survived so far. This was indeed a miracle, especially for their youngest one, the only daughter of the group named Yera’léao.
Yera’léao hastily made her towards the entrance of the den, her blue eyes blazing. She would be the first kit out into the snow, she’d show her brothers! Suddenly she came to a stop, the opening to the outside world in front of her; her nose twitched as she took in the scents. The kits hadn't much ventured outside their own nest, let alone go outside; their eyes did open though and their curiosity could not be held back. Finally their Marli agreed to take them out, if only for a few short moments. In no less time had Yera’léao rushed towards the opening with her brothers right on her tail, calling to her. But she got to the entrance first. Frost bit at the little doe’s nose, it was cold but her family would be upon her any second and if she wanted to be the first of the kits to go out she needed to go now. She heard pawsteps coming up from behind her only making her rush quicker, she took position and leaped out of the ground. Her dark body soared - at least to her, had anyone else seen the jump they might have shook their head and smiled at the silly kit who barely made it outside - only to fall quite ungracefully into the bright snow. She felt the white stuff cling to her fur, starting to melt into it from her body heat and she adored it.
It was so quiet outside - everything slightly muffled from the snow - but soon she heard the others and felt them surrounding her tiny body. She stuck her head up, coming face to face with her marli; what could be best described as a grin was set across Yera’léao’s face. Hyz'roo could hardly get mad at that face for rushing a head of her and Yera’léao knew she could get away with it, playing up being the smallest kit to her advantage because this was important to her. For she’d gotten out first. She had won.
