Personality: Akuji is not a very talkative type of person. He usually keeps to himself when he is around strangers but he has a tendency to be extremely protective of those he is close to.
Biography: Akuji was born in District 8, although textiles were not the only things he made. At a young age it was found that Akuji was a very talented necromancer, a protege, most would call him. Some say that he has the spirit of an ancient and powerful necromancer inside of him, but that is just a rumor. He was always able to sneak about and take whatever he wanted without being noticed and it grew on him. He learned quickly how to be very stealthy and damn near undetectable. But he wasn't just that, but also a very good warrior. He would practice for hours raising the bodies of the dead to help grow him into a fighter. His skills in the way of the knife make him an excellent close range fighter. He, unlike most necromancers, can raise multiple dead bodies to aid him, although the most he has ever summoned at once were four, and he has enough control over each of them that they can be a decent opponent to anyone rather than mindless walking zombies. It also appears that the bodies he summons have some inherent ability that the deceased before possessed. When Akuji was selected as the District 8, male tribute, he wasn't phased. Death was going to come eventually to him, but he would make sure that it wouldn't be any time soon.

Weapon: Hidden Blades- Arm based garments that can eject a blade with a simple flick of the wrist. This blade can remain stationary and stab into targets or it can be pulled out and used as a pair of combat knives. They are very sturdy and are razor sharp.
Power: Necromancy- Ability to summon spirits to his aid and raise the bodies of the fallen to aid him.
Strengths: Akuji is a very stealthy fighter, more of an assassin than a warrior. If he chose to he could sneak up on someone virtually unnoticed and they would only realize he was there when he pressed a knife to their neck. He is a master of close quarter combat and disarming his opponents. Akuji is a very skilled necromancer, being able to raise the dead quickly to his aid rather than having to start a long incantation.
Weaknesses:Akuji, despite being a necromancer, does not enjoy taking another being's life, and will usually let the poor soul go, but should he run into them again, and they have violent intentions, he won't hesitate to end its life. Akuji also only resorts to using his necromancy powers when he needs a quick escape and/or distraction. He rarely uses it as a prelude to an attack.
