My favorite chat room was rather obscure- the Virgin Mobile "Lounge" main chat room. You had to have a Virgin Mobile prepaid phone to access it. It was a mess of cybering, people buying and selling selfies with phone cards, drama, a handful of real conversations, and users like me who mostly just people watched. It was awesome, even if it did leave you feeling after a while like you needed a heck of a lot of soap to wash it all off.
That's gone now, too. Meh.
