If you loved someone
Would you
Give your life for them
Tell them how you felt letting everything out
Would you do anything
For just one minute of their love
Just one kiss
Just a hug
Just one word of passionate feelings
Would you kill
To see love in there eyes
Here compassion in there voice
to feel the warm breath on the nape of your neck
Do you know
That this person is right for you
But if you don't act now
They'll slip from your grasp
Has your heart started beating faster
With every word you say to them
You can't picture any other feeling
Even when you see him kiss another
I know this feeling
If you don't
You haven't yet lived life
That line about 'would you give you life for them' immediatly made me think of Everything I do I do it for you by Bryan Adams where he says "Don't tell me it's not worth tryin' for
I can't help it there's nothin' I want more
I would fight for you - I'd lie for you
Walk the wire for you - Ya I'd die for you" *shutter* that line has always given me chills.
But something about the tone changes at between 'they'll slip from your grasp' and the next line. I think its a rhymic change more then anything, but something about the wording and feel didn't seem on. And you have the wrong here, it should be hear.
But I have to disagree with the final line, life is a lot more then 'love'. I've been there done that, and I refuse to live my life under another persons scrutiny and beckoned call. Heh, can you tell I'm old and jaded?
