I've been playing since December 2005 and was always accepting of the schism of P2P and F2P; we got a fairly good game for free and they simply got more for playing. Now I've taken a bit of a hiatus, maybe eight months, but I checked in today and saw that there were perhaps less than ten F2P worlds?
I love the game and have a sentimental place for it in my heart, but is it worth playing without subscription anymore? I mean, I've been in the early hundreds since 2009 and liked it took me years to get to that level, but recently with the "Wheel of Squeel" and glancing on my friend's paid account, exp just seems to fly at you?
My real question is, has the F2P and P2P border be widened greatly to the point F2P is more of an annoyance now with all the restrictions? (And the dollar signs EVERYWHERE are the site are a real turn off too.)

They converted a lot of the worlds to p2p recently. Appearently there's a bigger ratio of active p2p accounts now, so they need more space.
It hasn't really affected me all that much, aside from the fact that they stole my homeworld.

With the current trend, I'm actually afraid their going to make F2P more like a trial than a miniature version of the game. Somewhat like MMOs recent trend of going F2P but only until a certain level.

Somewhat like MMOs recent trend of going F2P but only until a certain level. They'd have to limit f2p to the current max then, as many have maxed out f2p pure. Then they'd have to expand the levels for members only. Doubt they'd do that.
