Name: Medieval
Nicknames: None. She prefers her full name.
Gender: Female
Age: Appears 18ish.
Faction: Monster
Race: Gryphon.
Natural Ability: Shifting into natural gryphon form.
Personality: Medieval is the twin sister to Renaissance, minus the freckles. She is aloof and proud, and disapproves of anything that is not at her "status." However, there is a definite lack of confidence in Medieval; though she rarely shows it, she often doubts herself and does not believe she's capable of much. This does not stop her from keeping her nose high and looking down on others, but there's a certain sort of softness to her rough edges.
Medieval is classy and elegant, but she has a harder side to her that is sometimes shown when she is particularly proud and overcompensating for her self-doubt. She is not gregarious, but she will act gracious when the occasional calls for it. Her manner around strangers - if ones she deems beneath her - is calmly disdainful, and relatively polite around those she finds more appropriate.
Despite this, she is somewhat socially awkward because of her wavering between two worlds - the world of her parents, which she has been brought up to, and the world Ren left for, the one where her parents do not influence her. A part of her desperately wants to help out her twin brother, but the other part of her does not know how / cannot understand how it is so "easy" for him to break away. Secretly Medieval is proud that Ren has escaped from beneath their parents' thumb, but this is buried so deep Medieval herself probably does not realize it.
Job/Business: Currently she attends a prestigious day school and does not work.
Personal History: The line of gryphons she comes from is long, and they are all the same (except for Ren, who has estranged himself completely from the family). There is much expected of her, especially because of her brother, and Medieval often feels as though she has to prove herself to both of her parents. She both hates and loves them; they were abusive to Ren, but not to Medieval, who gave up trying to protect Ren when they were children, choosing instead to follow in the footsteps of her mother.
Lately, especially with the birth of Baroque, their little sister (who is now about a year and a half old), and the influence of Jove in Ren's life, Medieval seems to have mellowed out some. She has even made a small (small) effort to get to know Jove, though it is clear that she is both uncertain and angry at herself for becoming softer.
FEAR Ability: Feather Frenzy - Swift Strikes. Medieval sends barrages of feathers towards her opponent. They're don't cut, per say; they're more like irritating paper cuts or stings.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Gold.
Hair Colour/Style: Short, curly pale yellow hair, a few shades lighter than Ren's and a shade darker than her mother's.
Skin Colour: A light tan.
Clothing Style/Colours: Classy dress
Extra: Lion ears and tail, smaller wings than Ren and without the stripes.

The Secretary's stamp had gone missing yet again, taken by paperwork gnomes or typo demons or who knows what. With a great flourish, they dipped a quilled pen into a jar of ink, gracefully etching their approval upon the paperwork. It made them feel awfully fancy, but it sure did take a longer time to get through all the paperwork. It was starting to pile up around The Secretary's ears. Worth it.
