What's your favorite part of the Christmas story?

This is mine. "A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child; and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. And his tail swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne." Revelation 12:1-5

Annunciation to the shepherds.

Mostly because of the music and artwork it has inspired over the years. And probably as a result, I've always thought it to be a very dramatic, awesome, beautiful scene.

My favorite part of the Christmas is actually not part of it--the fact that nativity scenes have the magi at the manger when they arrived at a house to worship Christ. It still baffles me that no one will build a house, but I'm sure Jesus is all "It's the thought that counts".

I have to say that pretty much sums it all up, ha. XD Perfectly, announcing the birth of Christ from the 'mother' Israel(Romans 9:1-5). dressed by God , wearing the 12 stars upon the head (Genesis 37; Josef's dream) , And how the Dragon (Satan) in a perverted mirror-like of her stands to consume the Lord, but Jesus conquers and is lifted up after 'death' on Earth to rule in Heaven and in Earth forever and ever.

In other words, I agree with you! :3 Thanks for reminding me. And just to add keep Christ in Christmas. (I sound like a broken bumper sticker) X)
