Chinua watched the little eddies swirl in the stream. Her feet swayed in the lukewarm water, pushed by the currents. It was a gorgeous midsummer day. The sun had reached it's highest point, and although it was throwing off a dry heat, the shade from the lush wardwood forest sheltered the woman from the worst of the day's warmth.
One could tell from the slight grin on the woman's face and her glitterng eyes that she was completely relaxed and enjoying herself. A rare thing for Chinua. It had been a long time since she had felt so carefree... But they were back in Sunderland after a long trip to their homeland. They had successfully cured the herds of the plague and now they were back. For what purpose? Well that was still to be determined. But for today there was nothing on the agenda except a little rest and relaxation. She felt that they deserved a little peace for once.
Agreeement. Love. Happiness. Chinua was still getting used to the sendings from her bonded, but when Koke kept transferring such positive feelings to her, all she could think about was how much she had been missing before Koke had come into her life. When it had first started Chinua had been sure she was going crazy, now she only jumped slightly when a feeling passed on to her.
Chinua's grin grew into a true smile and she sent her own happy feeling back to her bonded. Seconds later she felt a gentle huffing on her head as the ever inquisitive Koke nibbled on her hair.
"Hey you! Stop that, what a pest!" Chinua laughed as she swatted above her head, trying to shoo off the mischievous doe. "Keep it up and I may just throw you in the stream!"
