Military Life vs. Civilian Life

It's so true.
and yet so sad.
but the best of it is its pride.
not pride for oneself for fighting.
its about the pride you give for your country.

I'm edgeing at the chance to get overseas.

You know, I think they should have some kind of "Military Week" near the end of High School so that all these molycoddled emo teenagers can find out what its like to eat half-MRE's for a week straight (which is nothing compared to how long we do it for) and what it's like to stand a twelve hour post in a fighting hole with nothing but an M240G and a box of 7.62mm rounds for company. A couple of sessions of explosive induced panic might also be in order. And of a few simulated chemical attacks.
