How do I turn 2mil into 23mil+? ninja

I'm seeking to finally own an OMG after being on this website for 7 years and always wanting one, but never really put in the effort before.

So,

- What are some of the things on the Marketplace I should be aiming to buy low and sell high?

- What are the best times of the month where someone can earn a lot of profit from buying/selling things?

- Do Advanced Chance items sell for that high when they're initially released? I've never payed attention to them before, and I still have no idea how much GC they cost either.

- If I were to buy GC to help speed up the procress, what items are the best to sell that will help me gain a lot of gold?

Any other useful info is also recommended. 3nodding

I'm not TOO experienced with all this stuff but I've read multiple places (and have noticed) that after MCs open people sometimes place their items reasonably lower than LMP to get gold to buy that month's MC (mainly on it's release day and the day or so after). I'd say that's one of the best times to look for cheap/possibly mispriced items.

I've noticed that RIGS tend to cost 149 gc ($1.49 usd) each or 999 gc ($9.99 usd) for a bundle of 9. Single RIGS tend to go for ~100k when they first come out and bundles go for ~800k, I haven't really been paying attention to them too much recently though. When Fortune Eggs were big I bought like $20 gc and bought 2 bundles, opened them, sold the individuals on the MP for profit, went to the exchange with my profit, bought bundles, and repeated. What sucks a lot of people are buying them so you have to make sure you're LMP and then you need to sell them before you buy another bundle's worth. I'm not too sure how effective this is now. I've noticed that when buying cash items, it's best to go for the RIGS, for example Revolution Midnight was ~600k for $5, vs 800k for $10 w/ normal RIG bundles. It never hurts to stalk the exchange or MP to see what's up though wink

Thanks for your input!
The thought of buying a bundle of 9 RIGs then selling them all individually never crossed my mind. I hope the profit is worth it to give it a try, but I haven't payed attention to how much the individual RIGs costs as they come out in a long while.
I think mispriced items are going to be near impossible now, since Gaia puts a big red sign warning people when their item is either really high or really low compared to the other listings.

Yea... mispricings are looking slim to none so my guess is around the 15th of the month when the desperation sales start is your best time to keep your eye open/ Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure many others have also realized this, so competition might be fierce.

What I normally do is look around the exchange and offer on items that sell more than 3-5 times a day (so I know my money'll come back soon-ish) and just offer on them, no matter what they are.I made like 200k in a day like that.

When it comes to cash shop items, the rate when things first come out is usually 100k or higher for 100GC ($1) and drop over time to 50-100k less. So when buying from the cash shop, stalk the items and see what the prices are. sometimes they go back up. For example the walking dead grab bag, 299GC, they were 300k, dropped to 200k, went back up to 300k and dropped again. My goal is to get 100k for every 100GC, ill take 50k less if im desperate, like the trinket hearts, they are 149GC and are selling for about 100k. Thats not a good deal if you buy a lot, but if you needed a quick 100k wouldn't be so bad. Evolving Items of at least 499GC are usually good buys also.

Thanks for the response!

I've noticed such a pattern myself, and I tried to take advantage of the new EI bundle today but since it was my first time purchasing cash through Paypal I have to wait for 7 business days to pass before I can sell. (January 8th or so) Not sure what the price will be on it by then.
