Ermingild chose not to strike up the conversation again while they walked. There would be plenty of time for that once they got to the cafe after all. Although, a Pub was really the better explanation of the place. Erming approached a modest one story building with fake wooden shingles covering it, and a cloudy front window that allowed in dim sunlight at the best of times. He stepped inside and held the door open for Ravon to follow him. Along the wall was a long line of private booths, and it was to these that Erming pointed. "Your wings may block the flow of traffic if we sit out on the main floor, plus there is the danger of one of the less thoughtful types attempting to pluck a feather. perhaps sitting in that booth int he corner would be best?"

Realizing the location was a pub, Ravon wanted to flee in terror. But he'd accepted the others offer to get him a drink and it was rude to run away. Though the other was very considerate in taking note of his wings and other people. Nodding to Gild before heading over to the booth, he lowers his hoddie and looks about curiously.

Ermingild watched Ravon carefully to ensure he would follow his direction. Once the angel boy was sitting in the booth, Erming wandered his way to the bar. He wasn't quick in making a decision as to what to order though. He wanted to get him alcohol, but not a obvious drink of one. He wanted something the angel would have no problem drinking in large unguarded amounts. "Long Island Iced Tea." He murmured softly to the bartender when he came over to ask what he wanted. The mixed tea drink typically didn't taste strongly of alcohol, and Erming was counting on it's sweetness to mask any other alcohol traces. Or..who knew? maybe the angel liked alcohol and wouldn't mind this drink. Once the barkeep had placed the picture before him, Erming carried it and a pair of glasses back to Ravon. "I hope you do not mind iced tea. I like the flavor of the drink here."

Visibly relaxing at the notation of just 'ice tea', Ravon smiles softly, "Sure, tea sounds wonderful." He graciously accepts his glass after it was poured for him and takes a sip of it. Pausing for a moment as the taste settles in his mouth, he eyes the tea for a moment, then shrugs and takes another sip. "This is actually really sweet."

Ermingild settled back on the other side of the booth as Ravon tasted the tea. He poured himself a glass and waited to see how the other took to his choice. Erming allowed a small smile to touch his lips at the comment. "I rather like sweet things." He commented with a small sip of his own drink. "So then... Was there a reason you were out walking alone tonight?"

Sadness seemed to wash over his expression as he stared down into his glass, before taking a swig of it and then twirling the ice around. "Bumped into this girl I used to know. Per....other reasons I'm not really comfortable sharing, she doesn't remember me."

Ermingild folded his hands in front of him, and took only the smallest of sips from his drinks straw. He would have to learn what Ravon meant about not being remembered...later. Instead he formed a sympathetic smile on his lips. "Well, I can see how not being remembered could be upsetting." He murmured to the angel boy. "Does it have anything to do with you being locked out tonight?"

Finishing his first glass, the angel pours another before speaking, "You have no idea. I've been forgotten so many times now it's frightening." He waves a hand and continues, "No, Skysong is a good friend of mine. No contract there. She has tendencies to have panic attacks and arms the security system in her house. If I'm not there I get locked out until she calms down. It's fine though, always got my wallet on me and can rent a room at a hotel should I need it."

Erming watched as Ravon poured himself a second glass, while his own wasn't even a quarter down. The Cursed paid close attention to the conversation of course, and tilted his head in a sign of curiosity. "I can't imagine how more then one person could forget you. One person I can believe but you make it sound like there are many." The note about the hotel made by the other was nudged to the back of his mind for a bit later in the discussion. There were so many openings and opportunities... he'd have to be careful how he manipulated the conversation.

"I'm a lot older than you think." He pouts for a bit, his expression depressed, "I look to be only, what, early 20s? Nope. I'm actually a couple hundred. Ya' loose count after a while, really you do." Ravon mumbles something to himself and shrugs, "But yeah, I've served at least a dozen being since I was sentenced to serve. Some expired and released me, others broke contract with me." He rambles off a bit before stopping.....staring down at his glass before taking a sip, "I should shut up now. This is really personal and probably boring you anyways."
