Setting: Barton beach, cool morning
---

The car ride couldn't have been any slower for Sevilin. He was pinned to his seat with the seatbelt, which We`rika enforced when he had decided to just float out of the passenger window. Who could blame him? He was so full of energy on this day. Honestly, he had barely slept the night before as he awaited the following morning with bated breath. Now it had come and it was taking forever!

"Can't you go any faster? What if they're waiting on us!" he complained against his restraints as he looked at his guardian through tinted vision. We`rika had let him wear his aviator sunglasses for the trip up to the beach. If We`rika wasn't so cross about this whole thing, he would have laughed at how bug-eyed the sea fairy looked. Instead, he simply gave him a flat look and returned his attention back on the road.

"Then they'll continue ta wai'! Ain't gonna kill 'em. I'm goin' th'speed limi' because some of us dun wanna pay for a ticke'."

"I'll pay." What would a car ride be without cheeky sass?

"With wha'? Sal' water taffy? Pfft!" They both knew he was full of s**t, so neither of them gave the other the satisfaction of finish this stupid conversation.

The rest of the car ride was quiet, but there was an energy in the air. Sevilin was impatiently eager to get on a boat and dig up buried treasure. We`rika was worried his son would break his delicate little neck without a hospital or Dr. Kyou anywhere close by. However, it wasn't his decision, at least he didn't think so. If the sea fairy wanted to frolic underwater with who knew what, that was his business. Soon enough, though, the car burst with movement as Sevilin stuck his head out of the window to watch the ocean and their ride grow bigger from the side of the road.

"Ohhh, wow! This is gonna be so much fun!" The raevan didn't let We`rika come to a stop before unbuckling his seatbelt and floating out of the window toward the boat. "Ahoy!" he shouted to those waiting to shove off as he grew closer.
