Some of you may remember the testimony threads which we had in the good ol' days...... I will start the meeting off.
I would like to bare my testimony. I know that this church is the church of Christ. I believe that Joseph Smith was an inspired man and translated the Book of Mormon. I know that through my trials I can grow if I turn unto God and do not rely souly on my own power. I am a stubbourn person and do not like help from others but God will and does help me when I humble myself and ask for his assistance. He loves me, I do not know why. I do not feel worthy of his love but he does love me all the same. Despite all my screw ups, my lack of faith, and my sins he loves me and still lifts me up. I know that he is there when I can go no further, pushing me, helping me take one more step. I pray that I can forsake all my sins and come unto him, becoming a vessel with his light. I have seen friends fall and know how much difference the gospel make in my life. These days we need to stand tall and strong. I pray that I - and you all - can do just that. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I know that my Redeemer lives. I know that He loves us all. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that restored His church in these latter days. I know that if we forsake the ways of the world, we will be able to get back to Heavenly Father and our Brother, Jesus Christ, when He shall come to Earth to reign again. I say thes things in the name of His Only Begotten Son. Amen.

((hm... Dragon, your testimony reminded me of a song we're doing for New Beginnings in my ward blaugh ))
Anyway, I'm currently questioning some things in the Church, but I do know that my Father lives, that he loves me, that he loves us all, despite everything. So does Christ, otherwise, he wouldn't have sacrificed his life for us. The Holy Spirit really can do miracles. I'm too stubborn to not believe these things. I have an amazing testimony of music (even though I'm of the opinion that all modern LDS music sounds the same) -- it can lift you up when you're feeling down, it can make you feel at peace, and sometimes the lyrics can speak to you more than the language that is music itself. Prayer works the same way. Everything's there, if you just look for it. I type these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I'd just like to say that I know that God cares about me. I've recently gotten over a really bad addiction that I had, and I couldn't have done it without him. My testimony has always been a little...shaky... but I truely believe in the powers of fasting and prayer. And sadly, That's all I can say. But I say it in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
