Daughter of the MoonA child that was not meant to breathe her first breath, the Goddess of the Moon took pity on the child born under her silver light. Granting this child life and the name
moon child. This child grew and faced many trials as she grew. Yet the mother she never knew watched silently in her kingdom making sure no harm fell upon her heir. Painfully watching as the girl lost the only family she knew. This girl was the only one with strange powers, and because of that she was not embraced and loved by others. The Goddess continued to listen to her child's tears and knew she could never could embrace her. Her child grew and grew and the Goddess could only wrap the girl in the light from the moon.
One day the Goddess saw a meteor heading towards her child's home. Her daughter an outcast shunned by the world. Yet there were so many other children like her. The Goddess decided if her child would never know her love, then she would grant her a new family.
The Goddess transferred all her powers to the meteor as it continued to Earth. Watching silently as children like her daughter were given powers they could not explain. In time they would come together. Now the weak Goddess could sit and watch her child grow in joy and find the love she had so eagerly sought after.
One day the girl would understand, her new home was her kingdom. They would fight, love, and grow together. Her daughter would unknowingly grow into their princess, such a hidden role that no one would think of. Her kindness and sacrifices would bring them together. Wanting only the good of them all even if it meant the end of her own life.
Watching with pride as her daughter grew so elegantly. No one could ask for a more perfect daughter, because the goddess love her child flaws and all. It was what made the child so beautiful. Mistakes were lessons, and her child learned many as she grew. Never once complaining about her burdens she accepted them and move justly.
Now the goddess could sit and watched peacefully. Maybe one day she would have the power to join her mortal daughter. For now she would watch over her sending her silver rays of light to give her hope.
