Character Name: Auriole Urteil
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Personality: Usually a rather upbeat girl, Auriole tends to become nervous around men, but will associate and even befriend them without too much trouble, and doesn't really fear them either... she just doesn't like them, in general. Otherwise, she's cheerful, kind, and considerate, friendly with nearly everyone once she gets to know them.
Weapon(s): Keyblade: Judgement Ring - A Keyblade that rewards control and timing, grows more powerful as the user matches their tempo to the flow of battle. Larger and heavier than a normal Keyblade, it requires great skill to use correctly.
Battle Style:Her ever-present headphones are used in battle to provide music that fits the tempo she's currently using, with several preset playlists available for different Tempos loaded into their inbuild mp3 player. This allows her to preform Harmony easier, simply by changing the music she's listening to to the correct list for her new Tempo and focusing for a few moments. She also has the use of several fighting styles based on the tempo at which her Keyblade is 'tuned' to. In order to switch between these styles, she must use a turn to retune the blade, and then another to harmonize herself to it before any real benefit can be achieved other than losing the negatives of the previous Tempo.
Combat Forms (Tempos):
Pianissimo: An extremely fast tempo. Allows for rapid thrusting attacks with the keyblade, but each attack deals very little damage. Specializes in Lockdown moves.
Piano: A fast tempo, specializes in aerial attacks, allowing for a large amount of lateral mobility. Also the most acrobatic of the styles, allowing for wall-jumps and the like.
Mezzopiano: A somewhat fast tempo, uses quick sweeps and a combination of keyblade and close-quarters moves to disorient and confuse the opponant and high ground mobility to allow for quickly changing targets. Specializes in ground combat with multiple opponants.
Mezzoforte: A somewhat strong tempo, uses large sweeping moves to strike at a wide area around the user. Able to strike many foes with a single blow, this style is ideal for fighting many weak enemies.
Forte: A strong tempo, using aerial maneuvering and powerful, gravity-assisted blows to knock opponents out of the air, followed by air-to-ground finishers to take them out.
Fortissimo:An extremely strong tempo, delivering crushing blows with wide, overhead strikes to deliver maximum force in every single strike. On the other hand, it also provides very little mobility, any movement becoming slow and ponderous.
Non-Form Skills (Melodies)
Harmony: The user takes a moment to back off from the fight and refocus themselves. Requires one whole post be dedicated to its use, meaning that the user must take any and all hits that would be dealt out from previous actions, but allows the user to either; A. Change styles to a different Tempo, or B. Become further in sync with the Tempo they are using, increasing its usefulness.
Likes: Good conversation, Relaxing walks, Most people, Music, Order
Hates: Men (to a point), Heartless, Rudeness, Chaos
History/bio: She wasn't anyone important. Not at first. She was just another person, living out her life in the streets of Traverse Town, generally minding her own business and staying out of other people's way. Unfortunately, this wasn't fated to go on forever, though she'd much prefer to keep it that way. She was accosted by Heartless on a trip through the town, something not entirely common to normal people, but not unheard of, either. She managed to escape, though she had to beat some of them off with a plank of wood she'd found lying around, and found her way to a safe corner... at least, for the moment. Soon enough, though, she was cornered, and on the edge of death... her story could have ended then, but then something within her was unleashed, and she struck, images flashing in her mind one after another. How to strike, to parry, all the basic forms she could utilize with her keyblade, formed in that instant, an instrument of judgement.
That fight was difficult for her at first, but then she realized that, by timing her movements and strikes with the flow of battle, felt through the blade, her attacks became more powerful, and her blade felt lighter. The Heartless fell before her, and soon enough she'd reached the true safety of the main portion of Traverse Town. From there, she made her way to the Academy, to learn how to fight, beyond the simple things she'd learned back there... And, she hoped, to meet new people, and have new experiences.
