There's a difference.

Pyramind Schemes are illegal in most countries and usually require you to recruit more and more people, but with the iPod scheme, you only get 1 product and thats it, there's no continual source of income. You don't keep getting iPods according to how many people complete an offer. You get one, and thats it. Its more of a network than a pyramid.
