Daina was looking for someone to keep her company in her house. Someone to help her clean the house from time to time when it needed to be cleaned. 'Maybe if I read there minds to see which one to get.' she thought. She opened her mind to read the thoughts of the slaves as she glanced and walked around.
Hiruko had his back against the bars of the cage, his legs outstretched. His wrists were shackled above him, to one of the bars. He had his fingers loosely wrapped around the top bar, the blue coloring on his nails, visible. Having the name Hiruko, there were a few masters that had assumed he was a she, because it was commonly a girl's name. Besides the fact that he had some feminine features, namely his face and hair, along with the fact that he had polish on his nails. For this reason, the black dress shirt he wore was unbuttoned just enough to reveal his chest. One of the guards had done that, so that anybody else wouldn't be confused as to gender. They'd taken his usual wear, his cape, hat, and various charms. Which included the patch he wore over his eye. The dual color of his eyes seemed to bring more attention to himself. Sighing, hiruko had felt the beginnings of boredom, sitting there, not able to do anything. Wish I was free from this place already.
Daina was on the other half of the shop looking at the slaves trying to read their minds. She gave a sigh and thought 'I wish that they act like they were asleep and this would be so much easier.' She kept walking around and looking when she heard someone thought 'Wish I was free from this place already.' She looked up and looked around trying to figure out where the thought came. She decided to ask who it was that she heard. 'Hello, I heard your thought just now and I would like to know where you are.' she thought back to the person.
Hiruko jumped, hearing a voice in his mind. W-what the?!?! Looking around, "W-who said that??" his voice echoing through the shop. Hiruko didn't see anyone, but he was certain someone had spoken to him. Maybe I'm just going crazy.
Daina heard his thought again and giggled as she had made him freak out. Then she heard the person call out 'W-who's said that', she thought that it came from the other side of the shop. She start to make her way to the other side when she heard him thought again. She giggled and thought back 'No dear. you are not going crazy. I'm a mind reader and I'm talking back to you through your thoughts.'
Hiruko started to wonder if he was really losing it, when he heard the voice again. Sighing, he chuckled lightly, Oh, hehe that's good then. For a second there I thought I might be going mental. He leaned forward, trying to see if he could see anyone, but where he was shackled to, made it a bit difficult to lean far enough forward in the cage to see out the front. "Where are you?" He figured she'd find him easier, by speaking out loud.
Daina heard his thought again and said back 'It's okay, people kinda act like that when they first find out.' Then she heard him speak out loud again, "I'm on my way to find you." she said. She kept passing by rows of cages with no luck so far. When she pass a row that was close to the other end of the shop, she saw legs sticking out of a cage. She backed up and went down the row towards the legs. She stopped in front of the cage, knelt down and said "So you're the one that I hearing, huh?"
Hiruko heard her speaking aloud, saying she was on her way to find him. He heard footsteps getting closer to his cage. When the girl knelt in front of his cage, Hiruko looked out at her. She was very pretty, fair hair, and soft features. He almost forgot to answer when she spoke to him. Smiling, "Yes, that would be me you were hearing."
"Ahh, that's good that I found you." Daina said with a smile. She looked at him and saw that he could be mistake for a girl easily. Then she saw his eyes, one was green and one was yellow. She thought that they were interesting that they were two different colors. "You know can be easily be mistaken for a girl and you have interesting eyes. Oh and my name is Daina Moondust but you may call me Daina." she said.
Sighing, "Heh, yea I know that. That happens a lot, causes a lot of confusion around here. Which is why I am the way I am now." With his shirt unbuttoned enough to show his chest. The guard that thought to do that, figured there would be less confusion when masters passed by. They'd realize right away hiruko was male. He smiled when she gave her name and said he had interesting eyes, "Glad you think so, Daina. Lovely name by the way, fits for such a lovely girl." Hiruko wasn't hitting on her or anything, he was just being himself, which was generally a gentleman...a nice guy. "I'm Hiruko Yume. If you prefer, you can call me Ko or Kome, up to you. So what is it you're hoping to find here today?" He was curious to know why she was looking for a slave.
Daina gave a nod towards him statement that his gender cause a lot of confusion and why he was the way he was now. She saw the unbuttoned shirt showing his chest to cause less confusion. She smiled, gave a nod in thanks when he said that her name fits a lovely girl like her. Then she said "Thank you Ko." She then heard him asked what she hoping to find here. "I was hoping to find someone to keep me company and to help me clean my home. It get kinda tiring doing all of the cleaning by myself." she said, 'I had asked my parents for someone but they said no and you have to find someone on your own.' she thought.
Hiruko listened as she said her reason for being here. Smiling, "I wouldn't mind keeping you company, and I'm excellent with a broom." He grinned, saying the broom bit just to be a little silly, maybe to get a laugh. But, he had no problem with cleaning.
Daina laughed a bit at the broom cause she thought that it was a little silly. She gave nod and said "Good, I'll take you then." She stood up and looked over towards the guard and said "Excuse me, I would to have the forms for Hiruko so that I may fill them out and for him to be let out of his cage." 'And if you hurt him, you will be sorry that you did.' she said in his mind. The guard flinched when heard her talk to him in his mind and nodded. The guard went got the papers and a bag that his stuff in it. He handed the bag and papers to Daina, she took them and took a quick look in the bag thought that it might have been Hiruko's stuff. She set to filling out the forms as the guards opened his cage, undone the locks that was holding his hands above his head and moved out of the way so he may come out on his own.
Hiruko was glad Daina said she'd take him, he couldn't wait to get out of this place. Plus, she seemed really nice, unlike other masters that have come here. Lola will probably like her too. He hoped she'd been okay on her own, since he'd been stuck here for weeks. Watching Daina when she while she was by the guard, he noticed the man flinch and wondered if she'd said something in his mind. While she filled out the papers and they'd given her a bag with his things, Hiruko waited while the guard unlocked the cage and then unshackled his wrists. Hiruko figured Daina definitly said something to the guard, since the man just got out of his way and let him come out on his own. He was greatful for that. Sliding out of the cage, Hiruko stood, stretching his limbs. Standing at his full height, Hiruko was just a little taller then Daina, not by too much though. Standing by her side, waiting till she was ready to leave, "Thank you for that by the way." He meant it to whatever she said to the guard, so that he wouldn't do anything to Hiruko.
Daina was finishing the filling out the papers when she noticed Hiruko standing next to her. She gave a nod and said "Your welcome. I heard that this place treats slaves here badly so I didn't want you getting hurt while getting out of your cage. So I made a little threat to the guard if he hurt you." She finished filling out th papers, signed her name, gave the papers to the guard and the guard left to file them away. Then she turn to Hiruko, held out the bag to him and said "I believe this is your's."
Hiruko nodded, frowning, "Yes, the guards here, seem to enjoy causing all the slaves pain. Being stuck in this place for a few weeks, was enough to last me a lifetime of nightmares." He grinned a little when Daina said she'd threatened the guard. "Hah, so that explains the flinching." Taking the bag when she handed it to him, "Ah, thanks." Opening the bag, he pulled out his cape and rested it across his shoulders, hooking the chain in front, so it stayed on. He rebuttoned his shirt, before pulling his hat out of the bag. Hiruko pulled out the eyepatch he had, and put it on. It wasn't like he needed it, he could see fine, but it had a magic charm attached to it. Setting the hat on his head, he left a few of other things in the bag and just held onto it. Smiling, "I am ready whenever you are Daina." Hiruko held out his arm for her to take, a gentlemanly gesture.
Daina gave a nod to Hiruko when he said that explains the flinching and thanks when he took his bag. She watched him put on his things and re-dress himself. When he said that he was ready where she was and held out his arm, she smiled and said "Okay then let's go." She took his arm and they walked out of the shop.
Outside the shop, Hiruko looked around, not entirely sure which way they'd be going next. He didn't know if she had a car nearby or how they were getting to her place. Before he could ask though, something flew down and crashed into him. "ACK!" A shocked look on his face, when he looked down at the big fluffy owl in his arms, his look changed into a big smile. "Lola!! Aww, you're a sight for sore eyes." Hugging the owl to him, petting her head, the bird cooed at him. Turning to Daina, "Daina, I'd like you to meet Lola." Lola ruffled her feathers and cooed happily at Daina. "This big ball of feathers has been my best friend since I found her as a hatchling."
Daina let go of Hiruko's arm when they were outside and as he looked around. As she reached up to her necklace to take it off, something had crashed into Hiruko. Her eyes changed to shock and then to curious as she looked at him and the fluffy owl. When he turned to her told that the was Lola and that he found raised her as a hatchling, she smiled. "Aww~ she so cute and fluffly, It's nice to meet you Lola." she said as she petted Lola.
Lola cooed happily when Daina pet her, puffing her feathers out. Hiruko smiled "I think she likes you." Seeing that Daina seemed to like Lola, and Lola liked her, made him happy. It would've been horrible if there were any problems about having Lola with him, he wouldn't know what to do then. He was glad also, that Lola had been okay while he was stuck in the slave shop. That had him worried, since he'd never been away from her for so long. Petting Lola again, he looked over at Daina. He was curious still as to how they were going to get back to her place.
Daina giggled and smiled when Lola puffed out her feathers and that hiruko said that she likes her. "If you are wondering how we'll get to my place, you'll see in second." she said. She reached up and took her necklace off, when she took it off her fairy wings came out. (tinkerbell wings) "You see, I'm really a fairy. Also look down." she said, she was making him levitate off of the ground as she was hovering off of the ground.
Hiruko watched as Daina took off her necklace, revealing she had fairy wings. He wasn't expecting that, it amazed him though. Looking at her wings, he was at a little loss for words. "Wow." A confused expression appeared on his face when she said to look down. "Huh?" Looking down, seeing he was floating off the ground, Hiruko's eyes widened. "Whoa! Ha, well that's really something." Grinning, "So, we're flying then? This will be...new." Chuckling, he wasn't sure whether to say fun or what. Though, it wouldn't be very fun if they were flying over any lakes or oceans. Hiruko really didn't favor the idea of possibly falling into any deep waters. He was still holding Lola in his arms, swinging his legs back and forth in the air. Okay, the fact that he was off the ground was pretty cool.
Daina giggled and nodded that they were going to be flying to her home. They had taken off from the shop flying over towns, forests and a few small lakes to get to her home. Once they had reached her home in the forest that was close to her kingdom where she used to live with her parents. She quickly got rid of the illusion that protected her house before landing a couple of feet in front of her house. She didn't want the illusion going off and scaring Hiruko and Lola.Once they landed, she said "Well, this is my home. I hope you two feel comfortable living here especailly you Lola." As they went up to the door, Daina saw an envelope taped to the door. She took the envelope off of the door, opened it and read the letter. It said that her parents were coming for a visit in a weeks time. She put the letter back in the envelope, opened the door and went inside. They had entered the living room part of the house. On the mantle sat a few pictures and her two tiaras, one she would wear regularly with her parents and the other she would wear on special days, sitting on pillows sparkling as the light shined on then from the window outside.
They'd flown for awhile it seemed, to get to Daina's, as they'd past over towns, forests, and lakes. Hiruko cringed slightly when they flew over the lakes, even though they appeared to be pretty small ones. When they'd landed in front of her house, "This is your place? It's really nice." Hiruko liked that it was in the forest too. Meant it was quieter, and nicer then the city. Plus, Lola would love it out here he was sure. When Daina spoke and said Lola's name, Lola hooted and puffed her feathers out again, happy at the surroundings and the house. Hiruko chuckled, petting her head. Looking to Daina, "Thank you Daina, I'm sure we will." He followed her to the door, watching as she read a letter that was taped to the door. He wondered what the letter said, but wasn't going to be too nosy about it. The room they'd entered into was the living room. Hiruko walked around the room, looking around. It was nice here, what he'd seen so far. He stopped at the mantle, looking at the few pictures there and at the tiaras. The tiaras were sparkling in the light coming from the window. Smiling, "these look fit for a princess." At this point, Hiruko wouldn't be too surprised if Daina said she was a princess or something.
Daina put the letter down on the side table by the couch when Hiruko went over to the mantle to look at the pictures and her tiaras. She smiled as she put her necklace back on making her wings disappear again. "You're right Ko, they are fit for a princess. That's because I am a princess. Just make sure that you don't touch them because I have illusion traps set up on them to make no one touches or steal my tiaras." she said. "Would you like a tour of the house, Ko?"
Hiruko chuckled a little when Daina said she was a princess. "Well now, somehow that doesn't surprise me." His eyes widened though, once she said there were traps on the tiaras. That made him step far back from the mantle where they were. "Thanks for that warning." Turning from there and going over to Daina, he nodded. "Sure, a tour would be good I think."
Daina smiled and said "No problem. Okay then, follow me." She lead to the dinning and kitchen area. "here is the kitchen and dinning area." she said then she lead him to the sliding back door. She opened the door to the patio, pool, and back yard to the rest of the forest. "Here is the patio and pool. The pool can be used anytime you want." Then she lead back inside and towards the bedrooms. She opened the door to his room and said "This is your room, my bedroom is down the hall and the bathroom is the next door to your right. I hope you feel comfortable with your room and I made a chour list for you with the thing that need to be done on certian days."
Hiruko followed Daina as she led him around her home. They went through the dinning room and kitchen, and then out back to the patio and pool. He nodded about the pool, that he could use it anytime and followed her back inside to the bedrooms. Daina led him to the room she said was his, he smiled "Wow, this is great. Thank you Daina." Lola wriggled out of his arms and flew over and flopped onto the bed. She burrowed into the bunch of pillows there, as if in a nest. Chuckling, "Looks like Lola agrees." With the way Hiruko's life had been up until now, he'd never really lived anywhere like here, or had a room of his own like this. Looking back at her, he nodded to what she said about a chores list, "Alright."
Daina chuckled and said "Your welcome Ko." She chuckled even more when she saw Lola flop onto the bed and burrow herself into the pillows like a nest. "I would say so." she said. "Well, I'll leave you to get settled in and to take a shower if you want. I'll go cook us up something to eat." she said, then she left them in the room and went to the kitchen to fix something to eat.
Hiruko nodded "Alright, thanks." Once Daina left the room, he took off his cape and hat. Wandering over to the dresser, wonder if there's anything in here I can wear. Opening the drawers, Ko was surprised to see plenty of clothes in the drawers, all types of things he could wear. He was mostly surprised that she had clothes already there for him. After picking out something clean to wear, Hiruko brought the clothes into the bathroom. Turning on the water for the shower, he undressed and got in once the water was warm. After cleaning off the grime from being in the slave shop for weeks, Hiruko stepped out completely relaxed. He dried off, dressed in a dark blue button up and jeans and made his way back downstairs, leaving lola in the room since it seemed she'd fallen asleep. Hiruko smelled whatever it was Daina was cooking, from the kitchen, as he walked in. Smiling, "Well, that smells good."
Daina went to kitchen, grabbed the apron off of the rack and started pulling stuff out to cook. She was cooking Red Beans and Rice. She had baked some rolls and made the rice keeping them warm. Then she heard Ko walk into the kitchen say what she was cooking 'smells good.' She turned to him, smiled and said "I'm glad you think and you're just in time because it's done." She went over to the cabinet and pulled out two bowls, and two forks from drawer. She fixed up the two bowls with the Red Beans and Rice. She put the rolls onto a plate and put them on the table. She then went and got two cups, went to the fridge and pulled out a pitcher of sweet tea. She put ice in the cups and she poured herself a glass of sweet tea. "Ko, what would you like to drink?" she asked.
Hiruko's stomach growled after Daina said he was just in time for the food. Chuckling lightly, a sheepish expression on his face, "Oh, excuse me, seems my stomach has woken up and realized how hungry it is." He went over to the table and being a gentleman, he pulled out a chair for Daina to sit, before he did. Looking at the pitcher she pulled out, he wasn't really picky with what he drank, "Um, I'm fine drinking whatever that is that you're drinking." He wasn't entirely sure, but it looked like maybe iced tea or something.
Daina giggled when she heard Ko's stomach growled and said "It's okay, I made Red Beans and Rice. It's kind of a filling dish." Then she heard him say that he'll have whatever she is drinking. She nodded, "Okay" she said as she poured some tea into the other glass. She put the pitcher back into the fridge, picked the two glasses and made her way over to the table. She put the glasses on the table and took the sit that Ko had pulled out for her and said "Thank you."
Hiruko sat down after Daina had, and took a bite of the red beans and rice dish. Smiling, "this is really good Daina." He hadn't had anything as good for weeks, while he was stuck in that cage.
Daina smiled as she took a bite or two for the dish. "Good, I'm happy that you like it." she said as she took another bite. "Well since you what/who I am. Why don't you tell who you are, I would like know." she said as took a roll and took a bite of the roll and then a sip of the sweet tea.
Hiruko furrowed his brow a bit at her question, as he took another couple bites. "Um...I'm not really sure how to answer that. See, I don't really know too well what I am." He looked like he was deep in thought then, trying to think of how to best answer her. Holding out one hand, nothing seemed to be happening, but after a few seconds, a rose appeared in his hand. He handed it to Daina, smiling a little. "I guess you could call me a magician of sorts. At least that's the term I use. But, I guess it's also more then that, but I'm just not sure what. See, I can make things appear and disappear, but also..." Turning his head up, looking just into the space above, he reached up and seemed to slice the air above him, a little black hole you could say, opening in the space. He stuck his hand through and right above Daina's head, another little space opened, and his hand poked through there and tapped her on the head. "I can pretty much move through space I guess you could say. It's like opening little portals to transport myself. Not really sure how to exlain it." Pulling his hand back through, the two little portals closed back up. Sighing, "I've had these powers since I was born I guess. My parents didn't know what I was, and apparently, they didn't want to. They abandoned me when I was eight years old. Besides having Lola with me, I've pretty much been on my own until now." Taking another bite of the food, "Sorry if that wasn't really the answer you were looking for."

Here's your previous reply, and my post is under it Diana smiles that her parents didn't make a big fuss about him. "Well since the intros are done how about some tea." They nodded "Yes some tea would be lovely." They walk over to the couch were the tea was. Claire then spots Lola and gushes over how cute lola is "Oh my gosh, How cute!" She moves over to Lola, picks her up and start to cuddle her as she sat down. "Well it looks like someone got your mother's heart already." he said as he sat down next to Claire and Lola. Diana giggled "yeah that's Lola." "Aww such cute name for such a cute and fluffy owl" she said as she cuddled and snuggled lola more. Claire http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p213/Uni_013/FairyQueen.jpg Drake http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs44/f/2009/124/9/f/Shine_by_theLovelessAlchemist.jpg ((sundress: http://i321.photobucket.com/albums/nn377/Ryoka-sama-of-light/club.jpg )) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hiruko chuckled seeing how Claire went and attached herself to Lola. The fluff owl cooing and bushing out her feathers happily as she was being cuddled. "See she likes you already too." Smiling glad. Diana's parents were sweet. (and for some reason i keep forgetting...is it Daina, or Diana...?) He poured the tea carefully into each mug. Watching the steam come from each as he'd finished pouring, taking the milk and sugar and asking each if they'd like any, as he served them. Soon sitting down once he'd finished, having his own mug there too. Looking from Daina to her parents, and smirking at Lola still all cushy in Claire's lap. Wondering what would be done or said now. and if you could, when u post, if u use ur layout, can u press quote on my hiruko post back in the bound guild, and copy my layout and color and stuff...and post it here
