Roleplaying Rules
===============

#1)
Reaction to One Threat: Posts are to follow this rule by offering an initial reaction to an attacker, preparing their assault and/or adding any dramatic details that do not effect their opponent (this is the middle action), before the attack.

=====Stage 1: This can be anything from blocking, evading, starting a counter-attack,etc. This section of your post allows for a response in a resonable amount of time.
*Refer to the god-modding rule for clarification as to what reactions are acceptable and unacceptable.

=====Stage 2: After your reaction you are allowed to add anything reasonable that does not threaten your opponent and also takes into consideration the time the action would take since it is often during combat these are will be short additions to add more to your post.

=====Stage 3: This is you action you are allowed one attempt to either try to force a reaction or to make a threat/taunt to your opponent. Any distractions or diversions are not considered a threat so long as they will not harm or affect your opponent in any way. After a action that causes a reaction from your opponent your post afterword cannot include other actions, diversions, or maneuvers.

#2)
NO GODMODDING: This rule is very widely known. Most guilds include it since it is a common occurance in rp guilds .
(Examples godmodding include: )
___________________________________________________________

Auto-dodging - The character is able to dodge any attack directed at them preventing any damage. If you dodge a attack using a technique that could not possibly work or that requires too much time to preform then you are auto-dodging and can be suspended from tournaments or other competetions.

Auto-blocking - Similar to Auto-dodging; it is performed when you state you character has a technique that allows them to block any attack made by their opponent.

Impossibility-This is simply doing anything that you cannot physicaly do such as drawing a weapon when your hands are tied.

Fatiguelessness- All characters can and will get tired after prolonged activity. You must state that your character is getting tired when in a long draw out battle.

Auto-Striking- Any and all attacks made by a character are unblockable, undodgeable, or can never miss the intended target.

Invulnerable- A character that cannot take any damage, be incapacitated or hindered, lose a fight, feel pain etc.

Extreme Damage-Something such as bottle smashed over the head means seeing stars, not skull fractures and deep wounds from glass shards.

Forced Result-A choosing the outcome of their own actions AGAINST another character. For example, character A states: "George lashes at Joe with his sword, creating a huge gash in his cheek

Omniscient - Remember you do not know everything or predict everything. An example would be claiming that you that knew that an attack was acctually just a distraction "IS NOT ALLOWED", unless you can prove how you knew what your opponent was going to do. You may acknowledge actions such as feigned attacks, distractions, and decoys only if you can provide how you can by the knowledge such as you have seen the same attack earlier in the fight or can prove you have seen it in another battle.

Auto-counter - Identical to auto-blocking exept instead of blocking your character counters their opponents attack with their that strikes before or just after they block.

Meta-Gaming - This using your opponent's character profile to cheat allowing you to avoid, counter or dodge their attacks. You may refer to their RCP for clearification, but this should be done only by crew in most cases.
Also remember that unless you have fought your opponent before and have actually seen them use a specific power, move, or attack you have no knowledge of what it is or what it is capable of doing.

If you feel your opponent is god-modding please contact a crew member, make sure to have a link to the incident in which the god-modding occurred. If it occured in a thread, chatroom, or elsewhere
(If the godmodding occured in a chatroom find members willing to be your referenece when a crew member looks into the incident *remember to post the names*).

#3)
If you feel someone is misusing/abusing the rule system in order to gain an unfair advantage please contact a crew member, vice-captain, or the guild captain to help fix the problem and any future problems.

#4)
A character cannot be killed by anyone unless the creater is allowing their character to die so they can make a new character. Should a character die in any thread outside of an RP or a thread dedicated to sparring, the characters creator is the only person that is allowed to decide whether the character actually dies or to keep the character alive.
