Biography: Solstice was born on the planet of Coruscant to buisness man Durrian Thane and his wife Eriobea(Ari-o-bay). Her mother, having grown up in poverty on Nar Shadaa, reveled in the idea of elaborately dressing her baby girl. Solstice became like a pet to her parents, being shown off at parties and then being sent away to her room. She hardly ever left the house and did not attend school, but was taught by an array of tutors. Her parents, mainly her paranoid father, did not want outside events and ideals influencing his daughter, as he wanted total control over her future. This grip became even tighter when her Force abbilties first manifested at a young age. Her bursts of raw emotion often resulting in a few small objects being thrown out the windows. Durrian became even more paranoid and forbid Eriobea from bringing her to parties until Solstice never left the house. As she grew older, she only spoke when spoken to and played the perfect child, but at night, snuck out of the house.
When she was 11, having become bolder, she ventured deeper into Corruscant, going further then she'd ever dared before. It was on one of these nights that Solstice stumbled upon a group of thugs doing business in one of the shadier parts of Coruscant. Seeing her as a member of the Planet's upper class the group moved in on her and in a panic the little girl fled as fast as she could. The thugs persued her until a dark figure stepped out to catch the fleeing child. The man seemed to contemplate handing the girl over to the gang, and for an agonizingly long time it looked as if he might, but the events took a turn in Solstice's favor as the man pushed Solstice behind him protectivley. He then dispatched a few members of the group, the lucky ones managed to crawl away. The man quickly befriended the frightened little girl, and he recognized in her both the Force and the emotional torment that would make a powerful Sith. Enticed by the idea of leaving Coruscant, Solstice agreed to leave behind her home and family and left with the Sith Lord. She was taken to a Sith temple, and though a little older then some of the acolytes, and lacking some teaching Solstice managed to survive the gruesome regime by borrowing from her resentful feelings towards her parents. She learned to live and breathe the Sith Code, defeating all who threatened her path to power, and because of her resilience she soon became an apprentice.
