Kurisu seemed to think that checking in on their allies would be good as well. Though, knowing Kiel, how many would remain their allies once he had actually met with them? Most tended to get aggravated when he didn't speak to them. Kurisu for example, had become rather upset and angry with him. It was something he had gotten used to as the years went on. When Kurisu said that he might have known of one other that could go with him, Kiel nodded, motioning with his hand for the boy to go get him. The brown haired Genin turned and scooted off out of the door. Kiel let out a sigh, leaning back against the table and letting his head droop some, his long hair falling over his face. It seemed like he had just left when the door opened again, Kurisu poking his head in again. Kiel's mismatched eyes snapped up and looked at the boy as he apologized, addressed him as the Tsuchikage, and bowed to him. Sharp blue and green eyes caught the grin that he wore as he ducked back out of the door, just in time to miss the wad of paper that was thrown at the door.
Lips moved silently as the male grumbled wordlessly. Pushing himself from the table, he stalked over and snatched the paper ball up to toss it into the trash as he made his way around the desk, his hand tracing around the wood of the desk and then across the back of the chair. He sighed, a silent exhale of air from his mouth, as he pulled back the chair and shifted, sitting down slowly. It felt... foreign to him, but he was going to have to get used to it, just as he was going to have to get used to people calling him the Tsuchikage. I suppose I can start looking through the papers... He chewed on his bottom lip, his hand coming out to grasp at the first paper in the small wood box that held the incoming requests and such. Pulling it up and sitting it in front of him, his hand smoothed across the paper as he leaned forward, mismatched eyes scanning over the words. His hand came to his neck, sliding under the cloth of his collar to allow his fingers to trace over the scar that ran along his neck. He swallowed, frowning and chewing on his lip as he read it over again. It was a fairly new paper, a request from the Raikage of Kumogakure, saying that she was going to have some sort of a thing called the 'Kumo Games', and inviting everyone from the other villages to join. Well, it would be nice to show up somewhere with an invitation first.
He picked up a pen, his delicate handwriting scrawling across the page and writing an acceptance to the invitation. Blowing on the ink to let it dry, he folded the paper and placed the Tschikage's seal on the outside to show this was an official paper from Iwagakure. Holding his hand out over the table next to the folded paper, crystals began to form across the desk, pulling together and forming a clear crystal bird. It remained still for a moment before shifting and fluffing its crystal feathered wings. It hopped across the table, Kiel holding out the paper for the bird, about the size of a large crow, to take hold of it in its beak. He picked up the crystal creature and turned to face the open window, tossing it out of the open window. The bird's wings shot out and it took flight, its destination, Kumogakure.
That done, he sat there, looking out of the open window and to the village below. This was going to take some getting used to... For now though, he would wait for Kurisu, then they would head out.
