Name: Hedoro Koutai

Age: 15 (All ages are guesses, unless stated otherwise...)

Mental Description: Hedoro's mood changes just as rapidly as ever, though by and large she is more introspective of late.

Physical Description: Virtually unchanged in constantly changing. She has become mostly accustomed to her Rumi form, and spends time in it occasionally. It doesn't seem to have changed, either, a constant in her otherwise mercurial life.

Goals and Motives: For the most part, she just wants to be left alone to live the way she wants, without being a slave to either her own hunger, or to people trying to point her at their enemies.

Dislikes: She still dislikes fleshlings, but more out of pity than pure hate. She also is not very fond of sweaters. Don't ask.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: She's continued her routine of travelling for a time, then settling down until she has to move on. Whether this be because others tracked her down and caused trouble, or her own hunger, it made no difference. She became more aware of the Biju, and has tried to converse with the Sanbi, with the part of it that survived its integration.

Name: Tamao Suzumi

Age: 24

Mental Description: Tamao's view of the world was broadened by a wide margin. She's a bit more pessimistic, or rather, she knows that people can act savage with little provocation. At the same time, she's become somewhat stressed due to the evolution of her unique accomplishments. (Or rather, taking care of her swords has proven infinitely more frustrating than she ever could have guessed.)

Physical Description: She's grown a little taller, but kept the same overall body shape. She's still quick on her feet, and still likes to hide behind her ANBU mask when feeling especially annoyed or cornered. Beyond that, she has recently taken to wearing clothes based on how they look, not just how they might help or hinder her in combat.

Goals and Motives: As ever, her goal is to walk the path of the sword, to strengthen herself even as she perfects her art. She still searches out rare swords, clues gleaned from rumor and legend.

Dislikes: People who don't give it their all, boring challenges, swords that don't know when enough's enough.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Much of her time was spent in a curious -This segment deleted to prevent spoilers.- After that, she wandered for a time, occasionally taking up with military groups as a mercenary, to see if that might find her worthy opponents.

Name: Zenwan Kawari

Age: 18

Mental Description: Kawari's programming has undergone several changes since her last scheduled maintenance. Security software has been enhanced, after an especially hazardous glitch involving Hidden Fragment's technologies. As such, her battle algorithms have been rewritten, to allow for a maximum versatility while maintaining a certain degree of safety from electronic warfare.

Physical Description: Her primary shell is precisely the same as it was before. She had diversified her assets, and now has several other shells that she can switch to as the situation demands.

Goals and Motives: Her primary goal is still to gain enough strength to prove that her 'defective programming' is not an instant reason to be tossed in the scrapyard. As such, she still looks for a challenge, still seeks new obstacles to overcome.

Dislikes: Glitches and lag, also especially intense electromagnetic waves or pulses. She also seems mildly superstitious, at least in warding off 'gremlins'.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: After her time spent with Noze, and after the incident in Hidden Fragment, she became a bit more 'human', in that the experiences gave her a touch of something illogical. It didn't interfere with her training, so she didn't see fit to delete the unusual bit of programming. Beyond that, she simply continued her travels, going about her own tasks as she continued to consider her role once she'd finished.

Name: Liesel Hansel

Age: 26

Mental Description: Liesel is still proud, still a bit arrogant. Not over her own strength, or possessions, though. Over her skills as a blacksmith, indeed, the smithing skills of all of Hidden Craftsman. If someone were to speak poorly of her home's works, she would declare them an enemy. Otherwise she's reasonably friendly, if a bit taciturn and curt.

Physical Description: She is muscular without being defined by it. There is steel in those slender arms, and molten iron in her veins. She is virtually never seen without her custom smithing hammer, whether she is using it in battle, or to craft a new commission.

Goals and Motives: Simply to prove that Hidden Craftsman products are superior to those of Hidden Katana. She will admit Katana makes decent blades, but they don't have nearly the range of Craftsman. That makes her home the victor, at least in her eyes.

Dislikes: Shoddy workmanship, dishonest salesmen, no pride in one's work.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Liesel has stayed largely sedentary, settling down to work at the forge day after day. Battles may be flashy and get all the attention, but she knew that battles were won or lost on the quality of a sword, or the durability of a shield. So she set out to channel as much of that need for weapons and armor into business for Craftsman.

Name: Maniwa Kyouken

Age: 20 in her current body, actual age much older.

Mental Description: Her mind is as sharp as ever, if a bit more predatorial than society might accept. That was why she became a Nukenin after all.

Physical Description: Her current form is that of an Uchiha, though she's adopted her own unique brand of attire. Her tattoos are as present as ever, and she makes no effort to hide them. She keeps her eyes open, but not activated, she's in no hurry to switch bodies yet again.

Goals and Motives: For a time, it was simply to swap bodies as much as possible, to become strong enough to do whatever she wanted. Eventually she felt strong enough to do just that, so she needed a new goal. She eventually decided on making the world interesting enough that she wouldn;t be bored. To avoid that, she'd urge the world into war!

Dislikes: People seeing her when she's vulnerable, being surprised.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: After some fun in Hidden Leaf, she spent a few months in a game of cat and mouse, occasionally hunting a young ninja from Hidden Moon, just because she could. They seemed to recognize her, and that was interesting enough that she wanted to find out just how much they knew.

Name: Mayu Eintagsfliege

Age: Several hundred years old, but she looks in her late teens to early twenties.

Mental Description: Mayu's mind is crammed full of military tactics and campaigns, political machinations and coups, and everything else considered important for a tactician, strategist and vanguard. As such, due to the extreme time difference between the present and when she was supposed to be activated, she occasionally feels out of touch with reality. Not to the point of having delusions, but in simply not being as knowledgeable about some things as she should be.

Physical Description: Mayu changes forms from time to time, but her current form seems more or less like a young woman of sheltered upbringing. Pale skin and refined features, she seems suited to evening soirees and premiere events. But that is only until she steps onto the battlefield, and her wings manifest. Then she becomes as the grim angel, starkly cool and calculating.

Goals and Motives: Her original goal was to win the Great Ninja War for Hidden Sound. Unfortunately she wasn't activated in time to do so. Now, she has to start the war anew before she can win it!

Dislikes: Peace, cowards, time limits, oversleeping. (The last two remind her far too much of the LONG time she spent in her cocoon.)

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Mayu has continued to spread dissent among the various villages. she's assassinated a few key political figures, she's amassed an information network, and she has even managed to sour relations between several villages that had otherwise been on good terms.

Name: Jiten Shiori

Age: 23

Mental Description: Shiori is still a calm and quiet sort. She prefers solitude, peace and quiet. She'll fight if she has to, but she'd prefer to solve things peacefully.

Physical Description: Shiori could change how she looks with her mastery over paper, but she is naive enough to think she has no enemies. So she looks much the same as she did when she started her journey. A young woman of medium height, with blue-teal hair and violet eyes. Her clothing is usually white, purely because plain paper is easier to find than paper of a specific pattern or color.

Goals and Motives: She simply wants to live life. Maybe have some excitement along the way, but mostly just do what she needs to in order to survive. She is still loyal enough to her home that she continues to work as a ninja when called upon, but she isn't crazy about those moments of terror amidst battle. Even so, when she does fight, she seems almost brutal in her zeal to end each fight quickly, to try to prevent needless suffering.

Dislikes: Rain (the weather, not the village!), fire, the library not having the book she wants.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Shiori seemed to have been forgotten by Hidden Rain's command infrastructure, unless they honestly expected her to continue her bodyguard duties for years upon years. Without hearing otherwise, she didn't have the courage to just quit her job. So she continued to safeguard her ward.

Name: Noze

Age: Technically ageless, but her physical form is only 7.

Mental Description: Noze is a manifestation of Death, to be specific, deaths associated with Envy. As such, she has an extremely distant view upon life and the living. A few deaths here and there make no difference, so she seems rather ruthless and coldhearted. The truth is she is simply pragmatic and efficient.

Physical Description: When not in her battle forms, Noze maintains her appearance to the same ideal she adopted when she first came into the world. Pale skin and raven-black hair. Eyes that seemed cold but possessing a terrible secret. Something in the way she moves that spoke of suppressed lethality, of death that walked amongst us.

Goals and Motives: While she considers them weak and inconsequential, Noze still envies humans for their lives, there is something in those natural births that could not be replicated for her own creation. She envies that, and she seeks to adopt and adapt whatever she can. Perhaps, if she kills enough, if she grows strong enough, she might have a full share of life, too?

Dislikes: Charity, being denied something she wants, things being 'unique'.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: She has travelled, usually accompanied by Kawari, her first follower. She knows that having strong allies is useful, so she has sought them out. So far, Kawari is the only one willing to toss in with her. But she won't give up that easily.

Name: Saya Vanity

Age: 23

Mental Description: Saya's still just as much of a ditz as ever, completely oblivious to life around her. even when she does notice something, she tends to interpret it in such a way as to completely confound the mind. Yet it all works out, so she stays in a good mood pretty much 24/7.

Physical Description: Saya may have gotten older, but that just means there's another candle on the cake. Which inevitably leads to the cake catching on fire, and her wondering why the cake needed to be baked twice. She has a smile on her face more or less constantly, her expression going past 'bubbly' to full-on 'carbonated'.

Goals and Motives: I want a sammich! Um, what was the question again?

Dislikes: Well, mean people are pretty bad, and scary movies aren't any fun, either.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Let's see... I woke up that morning, before I washed up and had breakfast. I felt like going for a walk, so I went outside. I accidentally tripped over a branch and looked at the stars for a while. Then I found a rock that looked like an egg! It was about time for lunch then, so I... *prattles on for about thirteen hours...*

Name: Teufel Verbotennen

Age: 13

Mental Description: Teufel's mind is a chaotic mess of duality. On the one hand, she's still a young child, one who never got the chance to have fun. so she is prone to acts of pique, or to lose herself in innocent fun until the shadows come out. But on the other hand, she has awakened into her true power as a Demon of no small importance, and has been taught to be savage and cruel like a proper Demon should. There are times when she glories in torturing her victims before finally ending their lives, or in spreading the corrupting effects of her Fel Chakra.

Physical Description: Normally, Teufel likes like any other girl her age might. Auburn hair and bright blue eyes, and a mischievous smile. But if she gets angry, her demonic traits start to emerge, whether they be curling ram's horns, or cloven hooves, or even leathery wings.

Goals and Motives: She wants to be done with her lessons in the ways of the Demon, so she can go out and just have fun and be herself. At the same time, as a Demon, she wants to amass holdings equal to her power.

Dislikes: Adults telling her what to do, people stealing from her, churches and other holy places.

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Teufel continued in her lessons to eventually take her place in the Beschatten sie Klausur. As time passed, she learned more about the Demon Baphomet, the one she was supposedly the eidolonic reincarnation of. As she learned, she gained finer control over her powers and abilities. She still had more to master, but eventually she got to the point where she could learn more from real world experiences, rather that being taught from scrolls and tomes.

Name: Yodan no Keishi

Age: Do the dead have ages that matter?

Mental Description: It took time, but eventually Keishi came to grips with being dead. She still feels like herself, though not as cocky as she was while alive. (Turns out death is a pretty good cure for personality flaws...)

Physical Description: Keishi's skin is gray and pallid, and her eyes look slightly glassy, almost hazy. But beyond that, she still looks much like she did while alive. A bit short, but still of average build.

Goals and Motives: Finding a way to come back to life would be nice, but Keishi doesn't truly believe it's possible. Barring that, she'd like to at least try to reclaim her lost life, and maybe even track down her killer if possible.

Dislikes: Being dead, people trying to exorcise her, being called a zombie. (Not that it's not true, but it's still rude!)

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Not much, she spent the majority of her time in the odd realm of the Afterlife, coming to grips with her new existence.

Names: Granberia, Tamamo-no-Mae, Almaelma, Iri Flina, Rion & Sion Flina, 'Sloth'

Since these characters haven't really done much of anything yet, there's no real changes that could be enacted. Leaving the Academy would be about it.

Name: Saden Zoto

Age: 21

Mental Description: While maintaining his calm and sarcastic attitude, Saden has become more angry and revenge driven.

Physical Description: Saden looks relatively similar to how he looked before. He has grown a bit taller and gained more muscle mass.

Goals and Motives: Sadens new goal is to take down the Double Helix Company and avenge Kisai's death.

Dislikes: Double Helix Company

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: Nearing the beginning of the five years, Kisai and Saden became lovers. However, Kisai had gotten caught stealing forbidden scrolls from the Hidden Slumber, becoming a missing-nin. After a month or so, the Double Helix Company hunted her down and killed her. Since then, Saden swore to get vengeance, but as the years began to pass he began to question it even more.


All of my other characters have been killed/dropped.

Name: J.E.V.L(Jamal Exar Von Lierberkuhn)

Age: 24

Mental Description: Due to being in a cryo tank for 5 years after his last mercenary mission went off the deep end, Jamal obviously hasn't explored the world for his personality or train of thought to change. Ergo, his personality has stayed the same.

Physical Description: Appearance wise he still looks the same in the face. But a major difference that one may see in Jamal if they had saw him five years ago is the dramatic change in muscle mass. Before he was slim, lean and mean. But after the explosion, he was left in a cryo chamber designed by Frost. Inside of that tank contained liquid that had chemicals in it that would heal his wounds faster during the 5 year period. In this time frost was also working on a chemical to which it could boost the strength of the user. The Lin Kuei were already known as powerful ninjas; with this chemical it would be known worldwide. She had finished creating it but had no test subjects to perform it on. That was when she saw an unconscious Exar in the chamber.

Taking a major risk, she had added the chemical in the tank, which would temporarily halt his aging process and stimulate his muscle growth via entry from his wounds. The results appeared to be ineffective but slowly she had begun to see progress up until he was released from the chamber. Frost had also gave him some new gear(as seen in pic), replacing his normal clothing with a more flexible suit in exchange for defense, possessing properties that are a bit less durable than his mythril armor. The reason was that there was not enough of the material for the entire armor. But what Frost did do was redesign the Mythril into 2 Kori blades and managed to recreate the freezing ability(as mentioned in description section of bio) his previous clothing possessed.

Goals and Motives: Hunting down Demetria in Spira is still his number one goal after her attack on Hidden Night all of those years ago. But he knows that if he were to go to Spira now he will surely be killed. So Jamal placed that on the back burner and placed his mercenary lifestyle on hold; placing more focus on rebuilding the Lin Kuei in his image. The last of his goals is to find out who had set up the ambush back at the Academy that left him in a cryo tank for half a decade and who killed off nearly the entire Lin Kuei clan. .

What has happened over the Last 5 Years: In the last five years, Jamal had ended up in a coma as a result of his last mercenary mission at the academy. The ones that he were supposed to kill knew that the mercenaries were going to be there that night so as a result, they had called up some friends. These friends just happened to be 5x stronger than Jamal and his squad; after managing to put up a decent fight his entire squad along with him were defeated bad but managed to escape. It was better to retreat and live and be stronger than die weak, but when they got back to their base, someone had laced the entire base with explosives, which went off as soon as all four of them were inside. The rest of the crew were dead and Jamal appeared to be as well It turned out that he was in the right place at the wrong time, being the last one to enter the building when it blew up resulting in him being in a coma when he was knocked back from the blast and his body hit an enormous tree. Luckily for Jamal he was found by one of the members of the Lin Kuei, who went by Jasmine J'moroko, aka Frost; who was looking for a rare suiton jutsu scroll. Jasmine was the same age as Exar and had a knack for technology, raised most of her life from her father; a former lin kuei from Hidden Gears before he passed away due to illness.

She took Jamal back to the new Hidden Night and had placed him in one of her prototype cryo chambers, which would slowly restore his wounds, maintain his strength and keep him safe until he woke up. There was a chance that he may not wake up but J'moroko had faith in her technology. After 5 long years, where even she was beginning to have doubts regardless of the upgrades she had made to the machine, her hopes had raised near the stars when she saw a tiny squint in his eyes. Months later Jamal woke up and was new again. Jasmine was surprised that he remembered what happened before the blast, and that he had no interest in the lin kuei or helping it after he found out he could become stronger than the Lin Kuei. But his view changed when she told him that they were the last few people left of the Lin Kuei.

In those 5 years members of the Lin Kuei was slowly being killed off one by one. J'moroko, who was in Hidden Gears at the time was lucky enough to escape being on the hit list; only becoming aware of this tragic event recently when she returned. While she had saw despair in those events, Jamal saw it as more of a new beginning of the Lin Kuei; redesign the entire clan in his eyes. So as a result, he agreed with Frost to help rebuild the Lin Kuei, but hasn't forgotten about Demetria, along with whoever was responsible for taking the lives of the lin Kuei, along with who tried to take his.
