I used to love the holiday season but up until about a year ago things got worse...my family (my dad and moms side) create so much chaos about where we are going to go. Now my dad doesnt ever want to go to either of the places, we live out of state so we have to make 2 trips and Thanksgiving was a huuuge ordeal and we only went to my dads family then used to be Christmas Eve we would go to one grand parents then Christmas Day to the pther and that worked out fine but my grouchy grandother(my dads mom) has gotten so demanding that we aren't going to do anything this year and this just....makes me not look forward to the holidays at all. I love spending time with my cousins and their cats and I dont even care about presents just seeing my family and now this =(

It always sucks when parents ruin the holidays for their children. My mom always makes a huge deal for my sis and I to go to her place for xmas. We both live in different states and my mom lives in another. She doesn't give us money for gas or a plane ticket but expects us to go. This year we told her we can't afford to go and she hasn't called me since I moved to WI. (she lives in WV) Which means she'll prolly not call me for a while because she's pissed. You just have to make the best of a bad situation until you move out.

It is expensive to go from one state to another =/
People, especially family members don't seem to care about stuff liek that or the stress it puts on children when they bicker and argue about anything and everything, it is suppose to a happy time not a fighting time =(
