Welcome! *Note: There is currently no set end-time. I will assume next weekend but will update once we know.
Both Rabid and I will be rolling at least one breeding each, though we make take on more if our schedule allows.
Please observe all rules and information regarding breeding in winter, as it's significantly different than your other seasons.
Winter Breeding Info
Although rabbits can, technically, reproduce whenever a marli deems fit; you'd be hard-pressed to find a marli willing to kit in winter months. Female rabbits have the ability to consciously reabsorb zygotes so she would have to WANT a pregnancy in winter for some reason.
This is highly unusual since winter is a hard time for rabbits; they don't hibernate but they do try to limit activity to reserve energy. Because of this you'll have to supply a reason with your couple as to WHY they'd be producing offspring in winter.
Some ideas on justifiable reasons could be: - She's a new mother and silly and doesn't know any better - She believes that giving birth in winter is a true test of survival for her offspring and insures that only the best of the litter will survive - She's in a warren where food is very plentiful even in winter - She's a part of a warren that's desperately trying to repopulate
Rules
- If a doe already has kids they must be outskirter or older before she can breed again. - A doe may only win one breeding slot with one male. - A male may win several slots with different does. - Winter breeding slots will result in two kittens, no matter what. There will be no bonuses for rp or for bribing or anything. - You may rp or decide plot-wise that the marli gave birth to more but only the two survived. - You MUST include a valid reason for the breeding in your form. If Rabid or I do not find it to be satisfactory, we'll edit your post asking you to change it. If it is not acceptable by the time slots are rolled, the couple will be skipped. - Each breeding costs 8k and is sent to the mule.

Name and image of the buck: Warbler Buck's owner(s): Teh Roarie Name and image of the doe: Russet Doe's owner(s): Scaramouche Fandango What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? The Colors guys! OMG the colors. Yes, really, for purely OCC reasons. And really, Warbler is a silly dork. He isn't going to pass up the chance to mate. Scara says, Russet is basically a winter kit and is of the opinion that kits in the winter are fine, so long as the mother's strong.

Name and image of the buck: Swan-Song Buck's owner(s): Mei Silja Name and image of the doe: Aythi Doe's owner(s): Fea Line What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? IC reason: Swan is a small and frail seer with a personality to match. Aythi learned (or would learn) she was pregnant doesn't have the heart to reabsorb, as that would crush Swan. OC reasons: I feel 2 kits is a perfect number for a doe recovering from being shot and also being a new mother who might not be in tune with her instincts just yet.

Name and image of the buck: Oakwood Buck's owner(s): Fea Line Name and image of the doe: Sunheart Doe's owner(s): Ruriska What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? All she wanted was to prove herself on the raid, but instead of bravery or cleverness, she showed only that she was a selfish doe that ran from danger. Not a terrible trait for a rabbit of course. You’re far less likely to die that way. But Sunheart’s pride had been crushed and the brush with death had left her nervous. She found some comfort in the winter months with a kind and handsome buck. When she realized she was pregnant she decided her young deserved a chance. Even if it was slim, even if they would probably die and it would simply sap her much needed energy, she would let them fight for their lives. IC’ly I’d probably say she’d had quite a large litter, with only the two little fighters surviving and it would shift her naturally selfish personality a bit.

Name and image of the buck: Whitlow Buck's owner(s): Seruta Name and image of the doe: Zinnia Doe's owner(s): Fea Line What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? Whitlow will want an early start for next year's winter - ensuring himself that this winter's kits (the ones that survive) will be strong and be a welcomed addition to the Warren. In surviving the winter and growing under his watchful eye throughout the next year, he believes they will be ready and strong enough to aid the warren in winters that follow. Zinnia is new to the whole Marli experience and doesn't necessarily seem to understand or know about the worries of having a litter in the winter. She's somewhat passive over the idea and easily gives into (or buys into) Whitlow's speech of a better, stronger Warren of the future!

Name and image of the buck: Blackbirch Buck's owner(s): Seruta Name and image of the doe: Cicely Doe's owner(s): Scaramouche Fandango What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? To simply answer for the both of them: They're both young and silly. Both are first time parents and don't know all the risks or dangers to having kits in the winter. Plus... Blackbirch is a Buck. 'Nuff said... I made separate posts for my pairs. Wasn't sure if we can post more than one pairing per post or not, so I took the safe route. Hope that's ok?

Name and image of the buck: Bearberry Buck's owner(s): Magical Werefox Name and image of the doe: Punkin Doe's owner(s): Heavenly Snow What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? Punkin would breed in winter because she feels it's a true test of survival for her kits. She's a tough female who wants tough offspring. Bearberry: Anytime is the perfect time for some loving from this handsome buck! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Name and image of the buck: Hollyhock Buck's owner(s): Heavenly Snow Name and image of the doe: Lady Fern Doe's owner(s): Heavenly Snow What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? Fern is a potential new mother and really is just silly, but feels her warren has enough food. Hollyhock is more than willing to help the doe bare young in winter. He's young and clueless too.

Name and image of the buck: Braeburn Buck's owner(s): The Concept of Love Name and image of the doe: Russet Doe's owner(s): Scaramouche Fandango Russet is basically a winter kit and is of the opinion that kits in the winter are fine, so long as the mother's strong. And just look at her! She's the toughest bun there is!

Name and image of the buck: Warbler Buck's owner(s): Teh Roarie Name and image of the doe: Sky Doe's owner(s): Teh Roarie What is your reason for having this breeding in Winter? I had intended to breed them together anyway. Two would be a perfect number. One for me, one to share. ICly: I can see Sky being young and impressionable and Wabler being like 'Hey there pretty lady.' Neither would give much thought to it being winter and too cold for kittens.
