He was happy to have gotten rid of his sister for the day. She was always following him since she found out he didn't believe a word she said anymore. Once she had said that a frog was the moon, and as a cub, he had been severely confused. He was thankful he wasn't as naive as he had once been.

The watering hole was calling his name today, it was so hot and he wanted nothing besides a cool dip. He wasn't even sure the water would be that cool, and he didn't really care either. Water was water, and he knew what a precious commodity the substance was.

When he finally saw it, he grinned, stepping forward. His head lowered and he lapped at it a bit. Smiling, he decided that no one was around to see him, and he slunk into the water. He didn't go in past his neck, and he just allowed himself to relax. He was beginning to think he could just sit here all day and be just fine.
