Stages:

*image coming soon*

Baby: A slightly elegant looking lamp with a suspended glass ball, fully enclosed, and a small flame burning inside. It's left by the Fire Goddess on the porches of those deemed worthy. It is their job to raise the young sprite child once it is born.

Sprite Child: Small and energetic, they are quite the handful. Although most of their behavior is childish, they do have moments of maturity and insight. However, a Sprite will forever remain a child unless they gain life experience. It is important that they be exposed to all sorts of situations and other sprites, as well as fire cats with whom they can communicate. CHILDREN CANNOT BREED. (( Sprite children are not roleplay required to own; however, they will not grow into adults without role playing. ))

Sprite Adult: This stage can only be reached by those who ROLEPLAY their Sprite Child. The child has reached maturity and is ready to leave home and join the sacred Sprite Society. This is where the Fire Goddess resides and where all Sprites come from. However, it is not required that they join the society. After becoming an adult, sprites are capable of breeding. A breeding done between two adults will go straight to the child stage.

So you want your sprite child to grow?

Requirements:
(a) Must own for at least 1 month.
(b) Must complete the rp requirements below.
(c) When ready to grow, please go here.

RP Requirements:
01. RPs must show personality, etc. to help with growings
But the basic colors can not change. For instance, if it is a girl with blue eyes and red hair, and a red/white striped outfit, she would still have to have blue eyes and red hair, and have red/white stripes in her outfit. The rps help to define the extras she would receive.

02. Points needed:
1 point for each page with 5 posts or more*
2 points for each page with 5 posts or more*, posts 4 lines or longer
10 bonus points for every 5 pages roleplayed in one month
Adult lines available at 40 points accumulated
(which would be a minimum of 15 pages for 1 point posts, and 10 pages for 2 point posts)

*5 posts or more is required in case multiple people or characters are roleplaying. This is to ensure characters don't have 1 post per page and get the same credit as a character with 5+ posts. Special circumstances may be considered if multiple people/characters are active in a roleplay.

Sprites may roleplay with other sprites or with the various species of firecats.

So you have an adult, now what?

Breedings!
When spots are open, you may breed your adult sprite with another adult sprite.

All breedings result in 1 baby per owner. (If 2 owners then two babies, if the same person owns both parents, then one baby.)

Want an extra baby in your breeding?
* Adults/parents must rp their courting/ons (keep it pg of course) for 2 pages. (That's 15 posts for each parent.)
* Then link to the rp thread when filling out your breeding form.

Societies:
So you're finally an adult, what do you do now?

You join a society of course. Make sure you follow the leader's specific instructions for joining. Some societies may allow children in. What better way to work on your rp requirements than joining these groups?

Do not see a society you wish to join? Then let's create your own one! That's right, Ignis just became interactive!

Prove you have what it takes to lead a group by accumulating another 5 rp points. Then formulate your idea -pirates, rogues, etc- and fill out the form here for approval. 99% of the groups will be approved.

So you formed your own society, now what?
01. You get to work with a participating colorists to design a small item to be placed on the sprites who join your group.

02. Leaders who are active in roleplaying and managing their groups may work with participating colorists to hold a small event for their society.
Details and possible prizes to be worked out with leader and colorist.

03. The more active your group is, the higher the chance for special rp rewards for active members.
