My novel is based off of the events in the Skyrim video game.
Prologue
Arrow awoke to the familiar sounds of the town's blacksmith hammering away at a new piece, most likely a sword for the Imperials. He lives in the city of Whiterun, in the province of Skyrim.
He grew up in his homeland of Valenwood with his family. When the Aldmeri Dominion invaded, everything changed. Arrow escaped, leaving his family behind. He traveled through the deserts of Elsweyr, barely surviving. Through the hills and mountains of Cyrodiil and finally ending up in Skyrim. His innate skills with a bow helped him hunt to survive. He owned a room in the Battered Mare Inn, in Whiterun. He payed 25 gold a month( The bar girl, Melina, was sweet on him), a true bargain. He earned his wage doing the same thing everyday. Eat breakfast, practice archery(and win bets), eat lunch, help the blacksmith, eat dinner, and occasionally spend time with Melina.
On this day however, his schedule would change.

Sidenote: I like Skyrim, though I've only played a couple of times! My avi was inspired by the Khajiit wink
