So, my girlfriend and I are having a child, a boy... My mom, who is extremely christian keeps nagging at me to have him circumcised when he is born. Personally, I really dont want to have it done, but my girlfriend is 50/50 about it. What should I do...

Discuss it with your girlfriend and come to a decision together. Figure out the pros and cons of circumcision, and don't let your mother dictate how to raise your child.

I agree with Irako; Don't let your own mother dictate you on how to raise your own child, kay? Like I said above, the child is yours, not hers.

Mom's can be difficult to deal with when you're having a child of your own. However, this is YOUR decision (and your girlfriends...). This is not her child, this is not her decision. You may want to politely sit down with your mom and explain that while you appreciate her advice/input, you and your girlfriend have made your own decision.
This is VERY important. If you allow your mother to make a big decision like circumcising your kid, think about what other decisions, big and small, she will then try to make for you and your girlfriend. Like I said. Respect your mother, tell her that you have considered her advice, but you and your girlfriend have made whatever decision you two come to.
If you let your mother start making choices for your kid, this could cause problems later on with you and your girlfriend, because then she may feel like your mother is running the show instead of you two.

Consider health reasons & how it will affect your child later in life.
I know I will definitely have to when that comes to a point of having kids my life.

Lady Kira X Consider health reasons & how it will affect your child later in life. I know I will definitely have to when that comes to a point of having kids my life. Congratulations on the baby btw! I know there will be no sanitary problems, because I'll raise him in such a way where thats no issue.

Well, it's your sons member, so it should be your son's choice. Wait until he is 18, or at least old enough to consent.
