Linka can control fire, this includes summoning it without any aid from matches, flint, or a lighter. She hasn't yet mastered this, though, and it does cause a bit of distress to others when the flames begin to spread uncontrollably.

Biography:
Linka's parents were shocked to realize she was a natural pyromaniac. When their daughter caught fire at the small age of 5 and was completely unscathed, her parents began to wonder about whether or not their little child was actually their real child.
It was her aunt Sabrina who knew exactly what was going on when she would make the fireplace light up with flames when there was no wood inside it. Linka's aunt Sabrina was an elementalist and specialized in using all four elements, not just one. When she attempted to teach Linka how to use the other three, she was met with resistance and singed brows. Admitting defeat, aunt Sabrina exclusively taught all she knew about the fire element and how to control it to Linka in hopes that she would not burn down anyone's house on accident.
When Linka was dancing, aunt Sabrina noticed her power over fire increased and she was able to tame the flames more readily with the concentration of the beat through her movements. The discovery was astounding to her aunt and provoked hours of training and honing those skills. Linka was able to reach closer to a mastery of flames with the aid of music and dance than she was with any other method of training.
When Linka's parents received the letter in the mail, her aunt Sabrina suggested she go, it would give her a chance to learn more things and possibly obtain a better control on her powers. So it was with an eager, yet sad heart that Linka left her home to join the academy.
