Edward walked slowly down the street, with a huge frown on his face. His heart was hurting, but what hurt more was his son who was now alone from his mother, which kinda pissed him off. He was hoping meeting his best friend from childhood would cheer his son up. She always made him feel better in the past.
Grihm pouted, he wasn't used to hanging around his dad, but that was all he had right now to hang out with. His father became happy when he heard he was going to meet his old friend..... maybe she would make him feel better too.
They both sat under a tree waiting for her.

Winry was irritated. Of all days, he had to meet with her today??? She had sooo much work to do! Customers were lined up, iZunes needing tune-ups and repairs and all sorts of things with all sorts of things, mechanical parts and appliances alike. But noooo, she had to go out in the cold, and fix Ed's problems. Dumb fox, probably busted a bolt or got half his leg blown off. Adkjasdflajsdflkjsd...
Spying her old best friend, Winry let out a huff - before chucking a wrench at his head in her true fashion. "EDWARD!!! What did you do this time???" She demanded, following her wrench and standing with another huff just inches from where the red-coated male stood. Before he could answer her, though, she noticed Grihm and turned all cheery. "Grihm! Hey kiddo, what have you been up to? Not all the shenanigans I'm sure you're dad's been in, I hope!
Nizumi simply tagged along for the visit, she had been working with Winry and helping in what ever ways she could, learning mechanics and practicing alchemy side by side when she wasn't with her darling Preacher. She didn't flinch when Winry went off on her dad, merely giggled at the flying wrench for she knew the two could act like children themselves. Upon seeing her brother, her tail wagged. He might be a strange one, but he was her blood and she loved him. "Hey brother~" Zumi purred, smiling warmly.

Edward looked towards his name called then *BAM* He falls flat on the ground.
Grihm couldn't help but snort at the wrench hitting his father.
Edward slowly got up with the wrench in his hand. "YOU COULDA KILLED ME!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR??" He rubbed his head where the new bump was. "Nice to see you too...." He pouted as he continued to rub his head.
Grihm nodded at his sister. "How have you bin?" Ignoring his father.
"Winry, it's been so long, geeze , give a guy a break, I just wanted to see you." He handed her the wrench. "I kinda had a fall out with the chick I thought I loved, but she dumped me and my son, so we are needing cheering up, thought you would be happy to see me, guess I was wrong." He wasn't upset at all, more like relieved, the tension was gone.
"Speak for yourself.... I'm perfectly fine without HER......" He said angrily, and seemed lost, like he lost his whole world.

Winry's shoulders fell. "Oh... Ed..." Tears welled in her eyes, she hated it when Ed was hurt and hated even more that he himself held it all in. She always cried for him... and always would. That was her role in things. He was the strong one, the fighter, the tough guy, and she was the support that he knew he could always come to. Without another word, the girl wrapped her paws around Ed.
Nizumi just stood there. She had heard about the break-up, but it was still shocking to hear it. She herself had kept her mind occupied, and focused on her work and her own mate, who had been more than supportive. She had kept the detail from Winry... "I've been ok, Grihm... Been keeping busy. Things happen, ya know?" Tears threatened her, and she moved to be closer to her brother. No matter how he felt about Mom, she still took comfort in his presence.
