Xeven was born away from the rest of society where a group of free-roaming sirens were able to live without being found. Her mother was one of the only women in the group to fall in love with a human man- eventually procreating Xeven. Of course the other creatures shunned the newborn and her mother for it was against their standards to spare a man instead of devouring him. With the help of her human father, her mother was able to relocate. As a child she was shunned for when she would try to play with the others her paralyzing touch would frighten the kids. So, she learned to keep to herself - trying to control her strange powers.
One day her mother decided to tell her of her gifts. Xeven knew what was given to her wasn't a gift but a horrid curse. She ran away form her home to live with her grandmother. In just a few days, her parents were found dead without any warning. Xeven hated herself for being so harsh to her parents. She now blames herself for their unexplainable death and cherishes her dying grandmother.
