Strong Pokemon... Weak Pokemon...
That is only the selfish perception of people...

So, this was originally a manga, and now it's into the second season in an anime form. It's one of, if not, my favourite anime, and I would definitely recommend it to other people.
To those of you who have either read the manga, or are keeping up with the anime, what do you think of it??? Do you prefer the manga over the anime, or vice versa???

It was actually originally a Light Novel.

It's a pretty good series in general and will be fun while it lasts, but tends to use cliches and lacks deep characterization and plot depth.

Good VA'ing and fantastic animation in the anime, but the sheer amount of stuff it cuts out from the Light Novel is very disappointing.

I prefer the Light Novel, though it suffers a little as well from the author, to be honest.

Oh, really??? Hm. I just learned something new, then.
I think it was the animation that really drew me into the anime. It is quite well done.

True, very true. Especially in the fight from the latest episode. I was impressed.

I have only seen the anime sweatdrop , and so far I really really enjoy it and the concept it brings.

from watching so far ten episodes, i would say just like what the first poster said,
it does uses lots of cliches and lack characterization and deep plot
plus, it contains more romance than action

I wish the anime was longer, being a gamer and all I would have loved to see a bit more of the game world. I have to say tho they could have ended it a hell of a lot better, but it wasn't a bad ending like so many other anime I've seen.

I've heard and seen from countless sources that it's really good. Hope I get a chance to watch it sometime.

the battle animations are epic.... and i liked that people died

The second season sucked though. I lost the little bit if seriousness it did have.

Wonder if the LN will get an official release in The West.
If it happens, I might give it a shot of consideration for sure.
