I have no idea how far into the story it's going to happen. Hope we get some more information on him and his powers soon though

This was brought up in an arc conversation. I think it will be when Luffy goes after Akainu which will be one of the last fights.

Why would he be going after Akainu? I think it will be more of he will be fighting to protect something from Akainu. Or maybe something after they go into raftel and maybe fight the government after finding out the lost century stuff

Dragon is the leader of a rebelion against the world government and Akainu is the military leader of the world government. Something will eventually happen here though it could just as easily be your way but since I doubt Akainu could find Dragon I think Dragon attacking the WG and Akainu defending it is more likely. It will be like the war of the greatest only with all the Strawhat crew.

I don't really want to know any information about him unless it's one of the last episodes. I thinks it's better to keep him mysterious for now xD

My guess is that luffy and dragon are going to appear after luffy finds out about the void century and then he will fight together against the world government

Yeah I think that might happen too. Can't wait for the big fight near the end of the series. It's going to be awesome!
