  "As he stood by the door waiting, Des leaned against the wall. He wasn’t worried really about leaving Haruto home alone. Des was more concerned with bringing Haruto along with him to pick out food. He didn’t want to wander aimlessly for hours in a store debating if Haruto would eat something or not. Once Haruto finally descended the stairs, Des stood straight as he looked at Harurto. He saw he was holding an umbrella. Des glanced out the window noticing it was a little cloudy outside. He didn’t mind the weather but Haruto was different. Des opened the door as he let Haruto go before him. He slipped out after Haruto then looked the door behind them. Des started down the steps of the porch then down toward his car. He unlocked the car as he slipped into the driver’s side. Des started the car up as he waited for Haruto to get inside. He didn’t bother with buckling himself up as he adjusted the mirrors."

 Haruto held the umbrella under his arm as they got out. Noticing they'd at least be going in Des' car. Des may not have a problem with the weather, but if it stormed, Haruto didn't need himself getting sick. He could deal with rain that was fine, but full on storming didn't work well. Once in the car he buckled up, though looked at Des seeing how he was. After a few minutes he couldn't help the comment, as he looked sideways at him. "Even if...you don't need to...you'd be better off buckling up...rather then risk going through the window for instance." If for instance they crashed. It may not hurt Des but it'd give his passenger a heartattack seeing him go flying from the car if anything happened. And he just generally didn't want to see anyone hurt, Des included eventhough now he knew just to what extent the difficulty of Des possibly getting injured. He was quiet aside from that remark. Looking out the window.

"As Haruto got in and buckled himself in, Des started to pull out of the drive way. He heard Haruto as he spoke toward him. Des smirked lightly hearing Haruto speak about buckling up. It didn’t surprise him hearing his words. He grabbed the seat belt as he buckled himself in, ”There happy now?” Des asked teasing Haruo as he drove out of the drive way. He continued out of the gates and down the street toward town. Des didn’t mind the comment; he knew Haruto was only trying to protect him. He didn’t need the protection after all it wasn’t like he was going to run his car into a ditch on purpose."

Haruto looked as Des had buckled himself up, flushing lightly in embarrassment from the tease. Nodding slightly, "Y-yea," satisfied though that he had done that. Looking out the window, the embarrassment fading a little and he smirked to himself about it. He was glad he hadn't gotten chewed out at least, and regardless of if Des was driving carefully or just the fact he was a vampire, that didn't all account for other crazy people driving or whatnot. Anything could happen. Watching the scenery as they drove to the town and saw shops still open. Enough of them open for nightly hours. ((ooc: cool avi outfit X3 sorry took me a couple days now...just a little lagging with rps the last couple days so was moving slow with everything.))

"Des knew how crazy people could be. He had dealt with a few crazy drivers before who had nearly driven him off the road. Des heard Haruto as he spoke satisfied he had put his seatbelt on. He smiled as he drove toward town. Des didn’t live that far from town. He lived within walking distance but didn’t want to carry bags back to the house if they ended up getting a lot of groceries. Des made his way toward a market that he knew was still open this late at night. He pulled into the parking lot and parked his car. Des unlocked himself as he pulled the keys from the ignition. He opened the door as he slipped out. Des waited for Haruto before heading toward the entrance of the market. He slipped inside as he grabbed a cart. Des looked toward Haruto, ”If you see anything you want don’t hesitate to grab it, okay.” He spoke as he started walking toward an aisle."((Thanks. That's okay, no biggie. smile ))

Haruto got out from the car with Des, waiting as he locked the car and went in following Des who grabbed a shopping cart. Nodding, "Alright, I will then, if there's something specific." Following, they came down an aisle of fruits and vegetables first, bundles of things. Looking at the things as they passed, Haruto grabbed apples, bananas, and some carrots, lettuce and broccoli. A little mixed collection of things as they went by. Nibbling his lower lip as he saw a little container of strawberries, debating almost but at the last second before Des rounded into another aisle he took them to put in the cart. They had moved along by other aisles with pasta and breakfast items, one of the last aisles being around the meats. By now the cart had built a little collection of things, a variety of foods. Haruto browsing the meats, picking up packs, examining and either put some back and looked at others or took and put them in the cart. He was scrutinizing the meats, checking to make sure it didn't look odd, or wasn't expiring, pressing against the wrapping to see the tenderness, etc. He looked funny as he was doing all this, as he made faces every so often, pursing his lips, or furrowing his brow, making an 'ick' face or something, different things before he finally settled on some things to get. Grabbing one last thing, some steaks, where he had put in ground turkey meat and a few things before. "Um...I think that's it now, sorry if that took awhile." Rubbing the back of his head, since he was being so picky with things.
