"She would love that," Cetalese replied as she made her way toward the table F'itz indicated. "If Velath is around, they'll likely talk his ear off or drag him into some kind of mischief."
Halith was a big hatchling, for the most part, and she always would be. Cetalese slid into a seat and set down her food and drink, cutting into the salad first. She ate a few bites in silence, washed it down, and then continued the conversation. "Will you need help finding a place to sleep now that the infirmary has let you go? I can make some inquiries among my wingmates, see who might have space until more private accommodations can be made."
Cetalese hoped that Abigail and the other leaders of the weyr came up with a plan for the new weyr layout quickly. The longer they waited, the more strain it was actually putting on the weyr and her riders. Cetalese didn't mind sharing a weyr with Mercy, of course, and she was sure others didn't mind either, but where there were three weyrs' worth of riders there was bound to be trouble. Everyone-- most everyone-- would try to get along, but that could only go on for so long.

He hadn't thought of that. F'itz paused with his cup half way to his lips and then nodded; there was no shame in accepting help from a friend. "Thank you, I would appreciate that. I wasn't told where I would be staying when I left and I confess I was too glad to be released to think of it myself. I'm not choosy," the brownrider smiled very slightly, "I'll be grateful for whatever can be found in times like these." He would miss his old weyr. He'd lived there since graduating with Brumath aged just thirteen. He would miss it a great deal but that didn't mean he wouldn't be grateful for somewhere to rest his head tonight.
Repressing a small sigh F'itz sipped his drink, eyes cast down at the table.
Brumath did not quite share his rider's grief for their home, such physical things meant little to him. So long as he was safe and fed and had time to think he was content.
