 Tototl was held up in an alley way, he had been chased in here by some other sparkles because he wouldn't talk. The truth was he couldn't talk, he never learned how. Now Tototl wasn't sure if he even could, he was a bird brain and could only squawk and make other unintelligible noises.
Once he was sure the coast was clear he headed down the street again, dragging his tail and leaving a small trail of blood after him. His claws make a clicking noise along the pavement as he looked around for something to eat.

 Trouble's ears perked as he heard a dragging sound go past him. He had been sitting in an alley, waiting for dark. Dark was when less Sparkles laughed at him. But this sound was odd to him.
He stepped into the light, slurring his words as they jumbled out of his mouth. "Hello? Whosth there?" His head twitching a little, trying to catch the sound again. Stopping in his steps as his paw landed in something wet. His head aiming down, though he could not see anything.

Tototl stopped and turned around to see a black sparkle step out of the shadows. And he talked to him! frantically trying to think of something to do he walked over and touches his nose to the other's cheek and then stepped back. making a sort of purring noise.
He looked at the other closely and noticed that he didn't have a face. Which meant he was probably blind. This gave Tototl some hope, maybe this sparkle wouldn't hate him or try to hurt him.

Trouble froze as he felt a cold nose brush into his cheek. After the initial blank mind a jolt of terror gives, thoughts started to rush into his mind. Thoughts like Its a soft touch, this sparkle isn't trying to bowl me over. Why doesn't he speak, telling me he doesn't mean me any harm? Should I leave him alone, he has obviously made contact, but he hasn't introduced himself to me yet....
Finally, Trouble decided to take a chance and try to speak to the unfamiliar sparkle. "He-hello! Um... I'm sorry, I can't really see. So I don't think I know you?" Hopefully his light tone wasn't scaring the other sparkle. "What is your name?"
Trouble paused for a moment, then spoke again "Also, is this your blood I smell?" His head pointed down towards the blood, as if miraculously he would be able to see it. "I do hope you aren't hurt...."

Tototl wanted to talk to this sparkle, he was nice to him for the first time in his life. But how?! He made a small chirping noise and then moved towards him again as she shook his head No, you dont know me. Yes it is my blood.. This sparkle was blind, oh well they might as well be on separate continents. How were they supposed to interact?
The feathered sparkle decide to carve his name into the stone with his claw. When he was finished he lead the other's paw towards him, hoping that it would get across his intent.

The fur on top of Trouble's head creased a little in confusion. Chirping? Could this sparkle be part bird? A little chuckle escaped his throat as he thought about it. He had never known a bird sparkle before. It seemed almost as ridiculous as a sparkle without a face.
Air blew gently against Trouble's face, cooling the moist tongue that hung from his mouth. Along with a slight swishing sound... was this sparkle shaking his head? Trouble could only presume so.
And then came an awful grinding sound. Trouble's sensitive ears twitched as the grinding came to a stop and what seemed like another paw, with sharp things on the ends, grabbed his paw and made him feel grooves in the concrete.
"oh...." It took a second to sink in "Oh! Is this a word?" a toe traced it gently as he tried to read it. "Totally? What is total? I don't understand...." It was the only word he could think of, even if he couldn't really find the Y. Maybe the other sparkle had broken his utencile to carve, or had forgotten the Y.

Tototl squawked in alarm and read the word over again. It defiantly said Tototl, so he claw at it a little more so it was more clean and the at down taking the other's paw in his and tracing it over each letter slowly hoping that he would understand. He was purring softly in anticipation, All he wanted was for this sparkle to know him, and he didn't understand why.

Trouble was a little taken aback at the anxious squawk. It made him retract his paw quickly. More scratching was heard and then once again, his paw was taken gently.
This sparkle obviously didn't want to harm him. What was he trying to convey with these concrete letters? If only the sparkle would just talk to him, even just to give his name.
Trouble's ears perked up as his paw traced the letters for a third time. A name! Maybe that's what this was! But he had never heard a name like this before. He wasn't even sure he could pronounce it, especially with his speech impediment. His paw paused as he tried to sound it out in his head, finally pronouncing is slowly. "Tototal? Is that your name?" His brow creasing again, hoping he had finally gotten it right this time.

It wasn't perfect but it was close enough, Tototl brought up the other sparkle's paw and placed it on his head and nodded happily. But he had finally made contact, well sort of. This was the longest he'd been with another sparkle without being hurt.
But how would he learn this sparkles name? Tototl could tell he was a male just from the smell, and he had to be a zombie like him too. He was excited and kinda nervous that once this other sparkle saw him he may think him gross.
