Throughout history, the church has done a poor job of elucidating true Christianity to the world. There is an enormous misunderstanding among the unsaved in this regard. For example, Islamic militants recently massacred over a dozen members of a Pakistani church because they saw the America vs. Taliban war as one of Christianity vs. Islam. Even secular writers treat Christianity as a religious institution, a political movement, or a social sect rather than a personal way to God through Jesus Christ.

So with the question, reveal what Biblical Christianity is...
What does it take to not be a fake Christian?
What is a real Christian?
Can you be a Christian without being a hypocrite?

What does it take to not be a fake Christian?
Follow God and accept Jesus. Its not hard.

What is a real Christian?
Do as God asks, Accept Jesus, Follow God, Be Christ Like.

Can you be a Christian without being a hypocrite?

As a human we are all hypocritical at some point. Yes you can be a Christian without being a hypocrite, it is hard but not impossible. Even a liar can tell the truth. God wouldnt have made it impossible for us.

What does it take to not be a fake Christian?
~~ Turn your life and your will over to the care of God. You turn your life over once, when you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior. You turn your will over as much as necessary. For me that can be minutely or hourly. All depending on the things I am going through.

What is a real Christian?
~~ A real christian is a follower of Christ. They do as God does, go where God leads, love as God loves.

Can you be a Christian without being a hypocrite?
~~ Well, first what is the definition of a hypocrite
"hypocrite - 1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, especially a person whose actions belie stated beliefs."

With that definition I believe it's completely possible to be a Christian without being a hypocrite. I know for myself personally, I have said one things and turned around and did another. It's all a part of sin. I sin all the time even when I know I shouldn't. My savior forgives me though and I do my best to rely on him when I'm in situations that tempt me to sin again in a similar fashion.

I think that anyone who in their hearts believes in God and that Jesus died for them is a real Christian, just some show it more than others. I think that many stuggle with how to act like a real Christian as opposed to the belief, or struggle with bringing the life with God into the real world, instead many separate the two which can be misleading to non-Christians as well as our own selves.

Of course we can. Like with all people, there will be times when things are easier said than done and easier believed than acted out, and every human will struggle with that at some point in their life. It's human nature, we aren't perfect, but we as Christians can say something and do it as well.
